67s from the button against an overbet on the flop I liked the flop but not the original raisers post flop bet. He went well over the pot and almost to 100% of his stack size. If I pushed over him I doubt he'd fold. Going back and looking at the hand I was surprised to see how much PT3 thought I was a favorite over 2 random cards. Well, how about 2 likely cards? That would be more useful. I've been trying to stay away from all-in or fold decisions (re-raising where it makes sense) but in this case calling and leaving them with money they have to push anyways seems silly. Would you have pushed all-in here? poker hand.JPG (http://www.cardschat.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=31039&d=1280867075) Full Tilt - $0.05 NL RUSH - Holdem - 9 players Hand converted by PokerTracker 3 SB: $4.82 BB: $2.00 UTG: $3.71 UTG+1: $3.75 MP: $1.54 MP+1: $2.31 LP: $2.00 CO: $4.86 Hero (BTN): $8.72 SB posts SB $0.02, BB posts BB $0.05 Pre Flop: (pot: $0.07) Hero has 6♠ 7♠ fold, fold, MP raises to $0.16, fold, LP calls $0.16, fold, Hero calls $0.16, fold, fold Flop: ($0.55, 3 players) 5♠ 9♠ J♣ MP bets $0.82, fold, fold MP wins $0.52

Fold preflop. Both MP and Hijack are short stacked so you're not getting the implied odds you need to be calling here with a SC or small pair(even with the BTN). As played I just shove and take my chances. If I lose it's negative reinforcement not to call the preflop bet the next time vs a shorty.

re: 67s from the button against an overbet on the flop poker 3bet or fold pre-flop. I really don't like the call. FWIW, I think it's still almost always a mistake to call here with full stacks. Flop, insta-shove. Normally I'd be calling against a fish (he's at 5nl and not even playing with a full stack, he's a fish like 99.9999% of the time) when IP with a big draw but because of the stack size and his overbet we have to shove since we don't want to call a shove on the turn.
