6 Max 100NL Strategic Question: 1) Could anyone offer some advise on how to approach playing pocket pairs OPP? 2) Can i get some advise for when playing against a possible blind steal i.e raised from the cut off or the button? - Should i always re-raise to take pot initiative? - Should i just call to flop a set, is that profitable? - I just calling them down, within limits of course a good strategy, since if i have a pair and they usually have just two overs i stand to make money from this? Cheers

I'm sort of surprised your asking these questions and playing 100nl 6max. This is very general sort of topic, but really it's a lot down to villains stats/reads, what type of pairs etc. BTW calling for set value in 6max is not generally that good of an idea, as there is generally a lot of value in pairs alone, without the need to play them passively for set value alone. As you probably know, 6max is all about aggression, and the further up the stakes you go even more so. So generally speaking, PP's have plenty of value, how you play them oop, is very much villain dependent imo.

re: 6 Max 100NL Strategic Question: poker Yeah with all due respect if you're playing 100nl 6max without the answers to these (very player-dependent) questions, then you probably in over your head. As for the questions, they're very player dependent. Really can't go much farther than that without writing an article-length answer exploring every possibility.
