5 card draw strategy
I just started playing small stakes 6 man 5 card draw SNG's. I have been doing ok in them but am looking for some more good tips. The problem I sometimes find is that if I don't have good hands when the blinds reach 100 and 150. The average chip stack is usually around 2,000 with maybe 600 chips difference between large and small stack. I find that maybe I am to tight on draws by not reraising with draws(4 card flush, 2 pair, open ended straight draws) before discarding .What do you do? Do I need to wait for better hands? What is the best to make it through a cold deck? Bluff in position? Trying to steal pots? Any help would be appreciated. I play on Stars by the way.
