4nl hands ... lead out or check back flop? I was playing at doyles room so im not sure how to import a HH or if its even possible but anyway.... 5 handed .02 .04 cent. A super call station limp in cutoff. I have KK in dealer position.. I make it 16 cents. he calls. Flop K K Q. he checks i bet out 30 cents he folds. What the opinion here.. check or bet? I have the board pretty much locked but since the guy was so stationy I felt I would get calls from alot of random trash, but this time he folded... how often do you all bet out vs check here bcuz we obv want to play for hte biggest pot possible and I guess folding out any hand is sort of a mistake.

Hard to say here. In this case I would have either min bet or checked along, probaly the check here, hoping he hits the turn or river. With KKQ flop you cant really lose (was there a sooted KQ? But KKKK against str8 flush, not really likely). If he checks the KKQ board, it probably is scaring him - we know he cant have a K - so he is likely to fold any bet, even a min bet. Turn and river to come, play weak and hope he hits. If he checks river, you have to bet 4 value, min-bet if u think he could check-raise, or bet out. If he bets on turn, I would call, looking for his follow up on the river. Really depends on your read on him, in this case u gotta play him, dont need to play the cards.

Whatever, if he had a pp he would call you, if he had a Q he would call you, if he had an A he would call you. Betting is fine, if he plays fit or fold there is nothing you can do he missed so thats sad. If he had something to call with you would have felt silly for not betting. What if he had QQ and thought HE was slow playing. BET. People at these stakes dont give you credit when they should, dont worry about the fact he folded this time call station would have called if he had ANYTHIING (straightdraw, flushdraw, backdoor straight or flushdraw whatever)

re: 4nl hands ... lead out or check back flop? poker Oh and your bet was fine, maybe a tad less, people generally don't believe a flop bet there, and oh yeah, he's a station who limp called, bet bet bet. EDIT: Oh and at 4nl against that type of player I bet pretty much 100% of the time, no need to balance your play.
