| Anyone ever fold top set after the flop? I was wondering if say I have 9h9cAcKh and the flop is 9s5d4d with heavy multi way action with at least 2 other players all in before the action is too you. Likely going against a flush draw and str8 draw and who knows if there a higher set draw.....do you think folding is okay here given here if the bet is heavy before it gets to you? |

| donkbet vs c/r......I have been c-betting HU after the flop. If works well most times and if i get floated on and miss i will give up at the turn or river. but I have been playing with extreme aggro players who have 3bet me on the flop....forcing me to fold a decent draw on the flop. adjustment I have been making toward the extreme agrro player is to play a lot less hands. wait for a good hand....ds connecting card with high pair.......and c/r cause i know this player c-bet almost 100% of the time. |

| Hi, guys. I wonder how you deal with following standard situation: say its raised pot, 3 people in. On flop early position guy leads up pot size bet, initial raiser folds and you with your straight or flush draw call as well. On turn flush comes, early position checks. You know like 80% of time early position has a set and he is a calling station no matter how much you bet he will call. You bet pot size. He calls. On river board pairs up and he leads up for 2/3 of the pot. So how often would you call this bet ? p.s. no need to get into pre or flop play, I'm interested in specifically turn and river. |

| board pairs up at the river, I suspect he has a set before....I fold 100% on a 2/3 pot bet. If I get c/r on the river I fold 100% on the same board. If he checks I bet 1/4-1/2 pot....two pairs might call .......most overfull and underfull will raise in my experience caveat ...if you been playing with this player and hes an agro post flop player and makes a bet 100% on the time at the river then I might call as i played with players that just have pair and bluff. | Merge - $0.04 PL Hi (6 max) - Omaha - 4 players Hand converted by PokerTracker 3: http://www.pokertracker.com Hero (BTN): $10.74 SB: $5.06 BB: $1.89 UTG: $5.00 SB posts SB $0.02, BB posts BB $0.04 Pre Flop: ($0.06) Hero has Ks Ts 9s Kc UTG calls $0.04, Hero raises to $0.18, SB calls $0.16, fold, UTG calls $0.14 Flop: ($0.58, 3 players) 2s As 9c SB checks, UTG checks, Hero bets $0.51, fold, UTG raises to $2.11, fold UTG wins $1.52 Should I c-bet this or check behind and maybe get flush-over-flush for a bit of value. Too much SDV to bet/fold? ... or do we not have a lot of value here when he raises? Villian is 53/14/2 over 150 hands. |

| Fresh (as in minutes) off a 10x bi session, which was accomplished via relentless limping at a 6 max table. I want to see as many flops as I can as cheaply as I can, thus the relentless limping. Some decent cards but a whole lot of HE fools who think a big pair is worth stacking themselves. Best PLO rungood session of the year. Cake.... .02/.04 buy in is Max 4.00 but since some box is checked I bought in for 1.20. Walked with 12.4x. Sweetness. |

And FYI, not quite every hand, but by anyone's standards it is a loose style, and requires at least some post flop discipline. |

| Agree it could be a heater, 85% vpip is seldom profitable (in HE anyway). But then I don't look for the same table many of you do. I look for the tables with the lower avg pot size, pretty much knowing it will be a limpy table, perhaps full of HE converts and I like my post flop PLO game. Seems many of you stress wanting to get in on those tables with the bigger avg pot, and I assume u r thinking there are a lot of loose gooses there and you can play a tight game and succeed. So far so good |

FWIW i'm gonna shot 10PLO when I hit $300 for about 3BI and then hopefully move up properly on about 350-400$. |

| BR: $46 My goal is to keep taking profits off the 4PLO tables and keep winning the small MTTs. I am currently playing .02/.04PLO only and up to $1 MTTs. I can't wait until I have enough to play the PLO rebuys again, those where my bread and butter. |
