| 14/7/3.4 Hey all, Over the last 50k hands at 50NL on FT i've been playing 14/7/3.4 Does anyone see a problem with this? I've played 50k hands and i've made....-$14.90. With rakeback i'm up about $400, but I'd like to be a winning player without the rakeback. I know I have a problem laying down high pocket pairs and get stacked when people flop a set...but other than that is there anything you can suggest to help my game knowing I play 14/7/3.4? Sorry this is vague, when I get home I can post some pokertracker stuff, but this is all I have for now. |

| Those stats by themselves aren't enough to analyze your play. Different people can be winners or losers with very different stats. Post a screenshot of your positional stats - your VP$IP/PFR for each position pre-flop. This will help us start. Also post your entire general stats, including street by street if you can. C-bet flop/turn/river, fold to c-bet fl/tu/riv, agg fl/tu/riv. Attempt to steal, fold BB/SB to steal. Most importantly, though, is remember to try not to tailor your play just to reach some sort of "ideal stat numbers". Learn a solid pre-flop game, and work on post-flop play. A positive winrate is more important than the perfect set of stats. |

The gap between VPIP and PFR should be exclusively flat calling raises from other players. When you feel like open-limping, you should either fold or open-raise. When you feel like limping along, you should either fold or isolate the fish by raising. If you do that, you will instantly start profiting from ... players who play like you right now. |
