| $1 - $3 Spread Limit - Fish on Left I had a hard time last night playing a cash game at my friends house. The player to my left was extremely loose he saw almost EVERY flop. His range was all over the place. I just couldn't get him to fold. He was on my left. If there was a raise preflop and I was going to play the hand I would reraise to $6 to try to get him out but even with a capped $12 bet preflop he called to see a flop. I experimented with him and went to show down with him about 5 times. 2/5 times he had me beat with horrendous cards (sometimes good cards) If he hit any part of the flop he'd go to the river with it. K7o Q2o T7s Even when he had KK Vs. my AQ the flop was AA9 turn 2 river a K I know this kind of player is very profitable in the long run but it's impossible to put this fish on a hand. He shows no strength EVER, he just calls pre, calls flop, calls turn, calls river or he'll call pre, call flop, call turn, fold river. So strict ABC poker is how I had to play but it doesn't help when I hold AK and the flop is A 7 2 turn is a K river is a 7 ... and at showdown he has 47o well I guess the question really is... Should I even get involved in a hand with this guy without pocket paired paint? And fold if I don't hit a set? He's going to the river regardless of what he holds. And will call with bottom pair and will play exactly the same with a set of aces. |

| You need to take advantage of him if you know he will put in money with garbage hands. When he is involved and you make a winning hand, you can string him in out of some money knowing he will call with t 7 with a 7 A Q on the board. The chance of the river saving him like you said is not that likely so you have the percentages if you have a hand. |
