your input please

I am quite sure that this has been discussed before but I can't find it. I play six handed ring games on a number of sites and my usual strike rate of seeing the flop is between 45 - 50 %.
Is this about right or too much/ too little?
Your input would be much appreciated.

I would say too much and I'm a pretty loose player sometimes.

Thats probably too much... playing that many hands means you must be playing a lot of rags which i cant believe are profitable.

Usually that's too much. However, it dpeends how the other players are palying at your table. If the table you're playing is really tight passive, it's about right.

The truest measure of whether you're playing too many hands is probably your win rate. Do you win playing this way, and is your profit (the most appropriate measures are likely BB / 100 hands and $ per hour) at a level you deem satisfactory?

6 handed it might just barely be too much. my usual VP$IP is like 35%-40%, but shorthanded LHE is kinda crazy like that
