I have a ticket for one of them 50 man games and I thought that a share of the $100,000 would be great, until I realised that there probably will be more than 100,000 sit n go's during the month.

The 50 man SnG's are starting approx every 2 mins, so most likely there will be more than 100,000 ppl sharing the $100,000.

We should be doing CC Invasions in them.

^That's my reason for assuming such a small amount.

I don't know how many CCer's will qualify, I made an edit in my last post suggesting an invasion like we sometimes do in the $2.20 90 man games and we have had many ppl FT in those, maybe we could do 2 $1.10 micromania SnG invasions at a time, surely some of us will qualify.

***Edit*** it is too late atm to start an invasion, I think Friday around 8.00pm US ET is the usual time that the invasions happen.

Yeah I played a few then realised they actually not all that great, stll if you get 1st free money is free money! I played a couple 1k added tourneys too for a few cashes they are worth it just for the extra money in the prize pool.

Finally used the ticket I had for the $1.10 micromania 50 man SnG, I started off well, picked up a few small pots and was running third for a while and about the 20th hand in I hit AA, action was folded to me except UTG who limped, I was in the CO and raised it 3.5BB all fold except BB and UTG, flop had an A in it and UTG raised, 1/2 pot I reraised it to pot size BB folds UTG shoves, (fist pump by me) I call as I had him covered.

That puts me into 2nd by over 4000 chips to the guy who is 3rd, then I went card dead for a while, I picked up a few blinds by stealing and I got about 1000 chips from the guy directly to my right who was limping every hand and then folding to a c bet, after about 45 mins into the tourney I was sitting in 4th position and get AK on the button and guy with Bigger stack than me who had been protecting his blind a lot of the time by shoving to anyone that tried to steal shoves so I called thinking he was protecting again and sure enough he turns over 72 soooooted, and sure enough he hits a 2 and I miss everything and out I go in 11th.

Naturally I get pissed off and walk away from poker for the night.

There was so much bad play with ppl getting rewarded with stupid shoves like the one I just spoke of, If anyone is interested in doing a CC invasion I will be trying another around 8.30pm ET tonight.

I think its worth doing invasions just for the fun of it, cannot hurt huh? At this pace your looking at probally 6 dollars if you win it. Maybe a better invasion if people have the time would be a 1k added tourney? If I am around when there is an invasion on I will donate a buy-in lol.

last time pokerstars did this i did get into that big prizepool, but when the promotion ended i got like 5$ so it is really not worthed trying too hard to get on that list.

What I meant was that he had me covered by about 2000, I knew I was risking it all, but with only 11 ppl left and AK on the button, and seeing him shove to protect the BB I figured I had him.

The regular invasions we do (I haven't been in one for a while) are the $2.20 90 man sit and go's that pokerstars have. I'm not sure that the usuals will want to play a big MTT due to the finish time, keep an eye on the get a game going thread around 8pm ET.

I played 2 of these the first day of MicroMania and managed to win 1 so I'm pretty much done with them.

The play is horrible and I just wanted my (small) slice of the $100k.

We have done them on occasion but the time thing is it. I would only do it on a Friday or Saturday night, when I don't have to get up early in the morn. Most MTT's are just pure evil with a top heavy pay out so less appealing imo.
Of course that is because I suck at them, lol
I would join one for an invasion just for the social aspect though.

Yeah I though so, it is too long for an invasion I agree, I just like the idea of 1k added to a 1$ game makes it worthwhile.

I just want to appologise that I wasnt around at the time I said I would be, my internet was down for approx 6 hours today it was about 2am ET that I finally got back online.

Crazy tournaments like this where there are milions of ppl envolved does not worth even thinking about them. 1/100 are average to good players and u cannot beat them all. Simply is like lotery.

BLT is resonable, dailly dollar is reasonable (last place ITM is played resonable)but tournaments like this where to get your share u have to go through hell are crazy just because there are not only donks. There are a considerable amount of players that know at least the basics of the preflop play. Playing Sngs like this for 1 dollar take the maximum amount of time for the minimum profit.
