| And yet another FTP statement 9/14 "On April 15th 2011 the United States Department of Justice unsealed a federal indictment against a number of individuals employed by major online poker operators. After the issuance of that indictment and a related civil case brought by the United States government, FullTiltPoker withdrew from the US market. Then in a related action, on June 29th, 2011, FTP had its operating licenses suspended by the Alderney Gambling Control Commission. As a result, Pocket Kings Ltd. (provider of marketing and technology services to FTP has adopted a cost optimization program and estimates that they need to reduce their costs by approximately €12m. This program is intended to streamline the company’s operations in order to better position itself for future growth and profitability in FTP's markets outside of the U.S. If all of the required cost savings were to be achieved through redundancies, approximately 250 positions could be affected; however the exact number cannot be confirmed until the conclusion of a consultation process with its workforce. Notwithstanding the foregoing, Pocket Kings firmly believes it has a very strong future in FTP’s Non-US Markets, and is fully committed to ensuring FTP restores the site and repay players in full. To this end, FTP has retained Sea Port Group Securities, LLC as its financial advisor with regard to raising capital and/or assisting in securing a strategic partner in order to fund continued operations of FTPs non-U.S. business. The Company is in active discussions with several parties and will provide a further statement in due course." source: http://www.pokerstrategy.com/news/wo...atement_51523/ Last edited by dakota-xx : 14th September 2011 at 7:21 PM. |

| re: And yet another FTP statement 9/14 poker I guess we American players are just plain S.O.L. when it comes to recovering our winnings from FT. Is our government so ignorant that they can't see the potential revenue available? Why not license companies like Caesar's Palace and other large Las Vegas and Atlantic City corporations with sterling reputations.for Americans to play online at? It has to be a win-win situation for all parties including the U.S. government. Why must we be held hostage by a group of small minded conservative politicos when our economy is in such shambles? |

You can be sure that the present online poker situation has nothing to do with "We the people". |

With FT will be the same. PPl do not care about their problems . Tey only want their money back and to roll on again. And this is only because the other sites are garbage . PS and FT are the best by far. Software, offers, point system. I still do not understand why the others did not speculate the moment to improve themselves. With an agressive marketing campaign in a short while they will be back as it never happened. I bet after a week after oppening they will have over 100k players online most of the time. |

Comparing PokerStars rebound to Fulltilt's potential one, is whimsical at best. |
