WSOP 2007 thread

I think there should be a thread which has information about Satellites for next years WSOP. If everyone post up dates and even let us know how you may be getting on in certain satellites. It will increase the chances of people getting there next year because the people who want to play will be informed. I will start of and list a few in oct. Also check out the poker Tournament listings page.

http://www.freewsopticket.com/ this does look dodgy, I will check it out later

http://www.poker-in-the-uk.com/welcome.html 28th oct

http://www.tournamentmonitor.com/pok...currentPage=64 this is another good webpage for locating satellites or any poker games

http://www.luckyderbycasino.com/Tournaments.htm early 2007 satellites

I know this is not much help, but I am just starting to learn the ways of the net and the poker scene. If everybody contributes I am sure there will be a few of us who can get to Las vagas for as little as possiable.

Thanks

p.s if a thread like this exists then soz, I did not see a WSOP 2007 thread thats similar.

Yeh, sounds good..

Almost won myself a ticket for the 2006 WSOP afew months back, was in the 'PPLAYER WSOP' private tourney on Pokerstars, over 1,300 players, 1st got the WSOP Ticket, 2nd to 9th got $100 and i came 9th so i was 8 places away from a ticket..

Unlucky but i was happy with $100 for putting nothing in to join at all.

Just out of curiosity, how many of you plan to play the big one next year? It will be my 21st birthday next April, and if I can afford the buy in I will be making my way to Vegas, and I plan to purchase a Cardschat.com hat to sport during the ME. Hey, there's an idea! Team CC at the ME!!!

Thats good playing for you to come ninth, out of 1300 players, its ashame that you got so close then lost out, it would of been great if up to 9th got wsop entrance lol, but i guess that would be too easy.

I want to go next year, if i dont win a seat for the ME, i will be playing in one of the cheaper events. But like somebody said a while back its like playing in the world cup. it is the world cup of poker, just to be there is something special.

on the subject of wsop, did anybody read the news about jamie gold and half of his winnings 6mil was frozen by las vagas or something like that.

also I want to ask, what are genrally the best sites for the wsop, i guess pokerstars, pacific, party poker, etc, anymore big sites that offer a lot of opportunities for the wsop.

Also the card i use is a visa electron and i struggle to get on a lot of sites, can people who use this card tell me sites they use. thanks
