Won Check Raising The Devil on FTP w/ This POKAH FACE!

So I finally got my book from placing 7th outta 4075 people in the check-rasing the devil freerol on ftp. I won this on the second freeroll of the day on the first day they ran this promo! I had been waiting and waiting, and IT FINALLY CAME! WOOT! ......now all I gotta do is read the damn thing.....

rofl congartz. Should be a good read. I remember reading somewhere that when he was addicted to video poker Mike Matusow developed repetitive stress disorder in his arm from pulling the lever on the machine. pretty sick.

haha...yeah I haven't started reading it yet, but i flipped open to a page/chapter and the title said something about meth, the drug, and on the front cover, you can barely see it in my picture, but, there is a pill bottle knockd over with pills spread all over the table, LOL, I really don't know much about pro players//famous poker players....but guess I'm about to find out about mike

I've read some excerpts from it online and Matusow has been interviewed on ESPN podcasts about it and Card Player. It sounds like an interesting tale. I'm looking forward to getting a copy after it's been out a while and the price goes down.

Oh and BTW congrats! That's a tough tournament. I've played it a couple times and there's typically a lot of donks early on shoving all-in at the 10-20 level. Near impossible to play sometimes.

I got my copy this week too. I haven't read it yet. I was one of those donks shoving allin on the 10/20 level in fact I remember playing only allin or fold until about 200 were left

yeah, i just waited for premium starting hands and that with a little luck got me to the final table

Haven't read anything about Matusow but watching him on TV is always entertaining.
