Wireless Poker
Just wondering how many of you use a wireless router when playing. I was in a $10 turbo SNG at Noble on Saturday. Got down to the final 2 and we traded folds for about 15 hands. Opponent finally went all-in when I had K-8s so I called. Flop had an 8 so I was leading when my wireless connection froze. I freaked and quickly hardwired my PC to the DSL modem, logged back in, and found out I had won. Scary situation, I now play only with a hardwired connection...

I actually have a wireless connection and it dropped a few times when I was playing for fun.
I am a bit worried it might drop so I will probably setup a hard wired connection when I start playing for real money. I am playing a few free rolls so I hope it doesnt drop halfway through, if it does I will just be called all in for that hand. Probably be sitting with pocket Aces or something! |
