Why is everyone looking to get money out of FT?

Just looking at the transfers topic, seems like the majority of the posters in there are trying to get funds out of FTP and put them elsewhere. Any particular reason for this?

(please don't turn this into a generic "FTP SUXDXSSS AND IS RIGGED" thread, I'm genuinely curious and would appreciate some answers that don't involve stupid conspiracy theories).

You want my personal opinion, I don't have $ on FT but it looks to me that most transfer requests are from relativly new members who want to play on pokerstars with the rest of the forum members who already have accounts on pokerstars or old members who just don't want to go through the hassle of waiting for a check in the mail and want the funds now.

Lots of cardschats games are on pokerstars and not on fulltilt, seems pretty straight forward to me.

Cause i gave Nick and a ton of other members too much of my bankroll on Stars for FT monies. I play MTTs on FT and NL Ring games on Stars.

If the CC events thing is the case then why are (a) people who haven't played (and I'm willing to bet won't play a CC event), or (b) people who already have money at Stars asking for xfers? Why is it that so many people are asking for transfers now, considering we've run events primarily at Stars for ages?

most of em save a few are paypal to pokerstars ie dont have any way to fund poker accounts

( a ) is unclear and i dont know what you mean, ( b ) arent most people looking to transfer FROM tilt to pokerstars like your op states.

I made a small transfer with a CCer 'tother night, and will do so again if asked, 'cause I frankly don't like FTP all that much, although I've made a little $ there. I feel that right now, I have more FT $ than I really need, is all.

It aint rigged but it sure as hell sucks

2 reasons for me:

- I needed to consolidate my funds. PokerStars has all the action and I like Ultimatebet better than FTP. So now I'm down to 2 sites I play.

- I seem to have larger variance at FTP. I don't know if it's tougher players or just luck, but I do better and sustain it better at Stars and Ultimatebet.

Personally I love FT, so I consolidated my BR to primarily that site besides a small amount on stars. I think it's all just a matter of preference. I can't answer your question though so I guess this is a pointless post in your thread. Apologies.

About the only time I ever had money on FT was to play a CC event. Call it variance, donks, whatever - FT and me never got along. Same with me and Stars actually. I think it has to do with the sheer volume of traffic. More traffic = more donks = more suckouts and calling stations.

I make steady money on Absolute and just placed in my first MTT on Carbon Poker. Kind of prefer the smaller sites myself...

Actually I have a bit on FT that I'd like to move elsewhere but haven't bothered posting for it due to the huge number of threads that led to your question in OP. Not to trade it all, but a fair bit really as I'd rather have the funds where I would use them most.

I play SnG's on Stars and rings on FT...since I play more SnG's than rings it's pretty obvious

edit: also I have PayTru so cashouts aare much easier from Stars.

PS doesn't let me use a prepaid VISA to fund it, FT and Absolute Poker do. Have to wait 2 weeks with epassporte to fund pokerstars and I WANT TO PLAY POKER NOW IS THAT TOO MUCH TO ASK ........... ?GAMMMMMBOLLLLL
