Why do people play so much slower on other sites?

I've been playing a few $1 SNGS on DoylesRoom and everyone is soooooooo slow compared to FTP.. I don't understand, I guess its just because the site is soft and filled with more donks??

Even the "turbos" go slower than FTP..

Doyle's Room is full of people getting rakeback (aka rakeback nits) so most of them are probably playing 4,6 + tables at once.

dont play at doyles but i do h8 when ppl take ages to go it gets so boring

I noticed when moving from FTP 2nl to PS 5nl, PS was much slower hand wise per hour than FTP. Not sure if it was related to the room or increase in limit however.

I agree, it may be because they play multitable

If you play at PKR (virtual 3D) you'll get crazy cuz it's the slowest site I have ever seen, due to the body moves and reactions...

sites like pokerstars compared to full tilt are generally slower paced software. Full tilt is smart and has it so that they deal cards much faster than more poker sites. Also they make it so every action is faster at full tilt that is my general opinion.

I noticed this, and like in DoylesRoom if you don't have automuck turned on, you waste a few more seconds each hand.

yup pokersites should follow full tilts lead and make it so their sites are fast too they'll make more money that way.

Imagine how much more money they are making now with RUSH POKER.. who ever came up with that idea must getting a BIG bonus. More hands, more rake.

this site gets my vote as slowest too. quite a soft site as has many newbies , who else would bother playing there?

I thought I was the only one annoyed by this. It's one of the reasons I could never get into stars. So used to the pace at FTP, and love the software.

^^Yeah I get kinda mad at pokerstars because it is so slow sometimes, I don't have experience anywhere but FTP and Stars..I like FTP's software better, because of the speed and probably also because I got used to FTP before anything else. But I see a lot of people say they don't like FTP and only play at Stars.. I think on pokerstars you actually have longer time to make decisions also.
