Who plays on Cake?

I was fortunate to win a small sum of money thru our OFC freeroll today and I am curious with this site. I've never deposited there and now I've got just over $30. I RARELY play there at all and have no idea what are some "preferred" games there. If anyone has a suggestion, please feel free....FWIW, I typically play small-ish ($1-$5) SNGs, MTTs, and occaisionally $5 HU(all NLholdem). I don't dabble too much in online ring games, but I am open for suggestions--Please, do tell....

I have a bit on there now too, but I also have a bit on players only and sportsbook and just am not there regular enough to know. I used to play their small buy in turbo tourneys early mornings sometimes, and they were relatively small and soft. Its been awhile, hopefully someone will come along with some better insight.

Hey there I play on cake all the time.
They offer some really good guarantee tournaments that I play in from time to time.
Here sngs at the 5.00 level are pretty easy game as well.
Their are some pretty good tournaments on there though.
I really like the bountys on there.

Kamakazi (sp) sngs!!!!!!!!!!!!

No seriously the PLO ring games are really soft. I don't really like the sngs, besides the PLO/8 turbo 6 max. The MTTs usually have a nice size field with some good GTD freezeouts.

i play there often.it has better connection than fulltilt and pokerstars in my city.I like the interface also.I suggest you play sng or low buy-in tourney so long as you think you good at tournament games.I take ring games and tournament games as different kinds of poker. So I major in one of them first.

I like the $6.60 buy in bounty tourneys, with $3 bounties. Take out two players and you are just about even, then go for the money. Once I took out 17 bounties and placed 2nd, which was a pretty good payday.

I also like the $6 bounty sngs. I seem to do well enough at them to make up for the money I lose to jordanbillie at PLO lol.

17 bounties is amazing. Nice one

I built a small bankroll there through freerolls then small $ tourneys and Sit n Goes. Much more success there than any other site - so must be soft !!!!! Have yet to try and get cash out though.
Good luck.

If you are asking what games or what you need to do to withdraw. Myself don't know the withdraw requirements. Games are decent. I prefer the double up games myself. It is probably all to the individual.

I play on the Cake network all the time. They have decent MTT's at 8:30 pm daily. some are bounties all are guarantees. I like to rgister for a tournament and then go to the SnG and get in the double up games. try to win my tourney buy in back. All you need to do in the double up is outlast 5 others, and you double your money. I built a $98 bankroll playing $2 double up. Since March of this year.

I have been playing the 25 cent rebuy at 1:15 EST on cake recently and it is a great tournament. Also mixing in the $1 30 person sngs. Seems like a site you can really win some money on, trying to just build up a roll over there. Start with $10, up to $50. It's fun to mix in the games on cake while also playing on stars.

I have been playing regular on Cake Network for the last two years and the fact that I am still there must something positive. I love their customer services, software, promotions and that there is much traffic.

I have been playing on Cake, and its skins, for a couple of years. I also have never deposited on Cake or it's skins. Recently, Poker Host, Doyles Room(both former Micro Gaming skins), and Poker World(formerly on Gold Chip) have moved over to the Cake Network.

Also, I was lucky enough to get rake back on Cake and Poker World. I do not think Doyle's or Poker Host have rake back. So, I will, probably, stop playing on Poker Host and Doyle's in the near future.

I managed to work my way thru the minfield that is the .25c rebuy the other day to finish 4th.

If i can do that then Cake must be soft.

Cheers

their graphics and especially sound effects need an overhaul. otherwise nice site. I know poker's not about fancy graphics and stuff but theirs can get annoying.
