Who is playing ESPN.com poker?
Well, I just finished racking up my poker hands to qualify for the Sunday tourney at ESPN.com.
Personally, I think ESPN's poker site quality sucks. It doesn't appear that they have enough horsepower behind the machines to continuously handle the volume of traffic they get with this promotion. There can be a lot of lag and waiting. Other times it just keeps trucking along. But, whether the site sucks or not, a completely free shot at a WSOP prize package is worth it. Especially since the qualifier rounds help limit the number of players (unlike the big poker sites that have 6000 people in the first set of tournaments that all lead to a 2nd tourney that will still have 6000 qualifier people in it). And, the prize package includes airfare, hotel room, and entry fee. Works for me. Anyone else here playing at ESPN.com at all? What are your thoughts? Also, has anyone been to any Sunday qualifiers yet? |

Last Chance This Week!!!
Yeah, J.D., ESPN Poker Club blows big time. But, as you say, someone has to win the WSOP seat. Why not one of us? Gotta hurry, though. The qualifiers end THIS SUNDAY, 5/08!! So, just a few days left to get into the final Sunday qualifiers to earn a seat at the WSOP Final for the Vegas package and WSOP seat.
