Who else here won't play on pokerstars because it's ugly?

I'm not sure if i'm the only one but the main reason i don't play on pokerstars is because they're software i just plain ugly. i don't know how people can possibly say it is the best looking most user friendly platform to play on! it doesn't list the buy-ins in a column so you have to scan the long tournament names or sometimes enter the lobby just to get that info! i know there are filters but sometimes i just want to list tourneys or tables by buyin just to see what's going on. also, their yellow/brown colour scheme of their table is ugly and their background is just terrible! tell me im not crazy and there are other people who feel like this!

Standard is now black and you can choose your table like anywhere else.

What are you talking about? Just click "Buy-in" to sort them by buy-in amount.

Much better than Full Tilt where you have to click on a game to get info. In the attached pic, can you tell me which is the CardsChat freeroll?

MMh I left that side about a year and a half ago.
And I agree, it´s ugly and unfriendly.
PDC (Carbon) Poker is the best

i cant say i ever had any real trouble finding a game on stars. there's the filter and you can also click the columns to sort things. i just dont think its a big problem.

haha ok so i was wrong on the buy-in thing sorry, never noticed the column before. but i still have to say i dislike the way the table looks and the circles to represent players bugs me. at least full tilt software looks clean and modern and easy to navigate in my opinion, and they have like 5 preinstalled skins so you don't have to look at those avatars all the time. different strokes for different folks i guess

Pokerstars offers a lot more options for how the table appears than FT, so I'm not sure why you say iot is much worse. You can turn off the avatars on PS and make the table look different in many ways. Their tournaments also are a lot easier to figure out as ythelongface pointed out.

I do agree with you on that. But pokerstars makes up with it with their kickass support team. Full tilt has a good setup and special features and what not but their support team sucks. They are theives and dont give a flying f.k about their low bankroll customers. Stick with pokerstars

PokerStars has more players, more games than any other site I have seen. It is always easy and fast to get a game.

Their support is second to none and always fast.

I downloaded the PokerStar software last year... and didn't like the design at all... it really turned me off from playing on that site... it looks very wak... for a world class site... they should really step it up...

so far the only site I play on is Full Tilt... I like their layout, and design... just a great site to play on...

Here's a little story:

In 1990, I decided to go to "broadcasting school" to become a radio DJ. One of the first things they taught us was that your taste in music needs to go out the window. If the only radio station in your area that is hiring plays Gospel or Classical or Early Country or Elevator Music, etc., you can't turn down the only job available because you don't like the music. You gotta go where the money is and take the job.

I think the same applies to poker, live or online. It shouldn't matter what the place looks like. "You gotta go where the money is."

I've always thought it was ugly too....and the shuffling and dealing algorithym seems slow to me as well..........but its one of the best sites to play at.........not because its flashy or looks good............

why does everyone talk so horrible about ubet........I think it looks better than sites like party poker and full tilt.........I like a name better than an avatar based upon where you sit.........

I agree Pokerstars isn't the most attractive site graphics wise and I haven't played there in months. Not because of the graphics actually but I really don't care for the site in general.

I think the graphics at pokerstars are pretty good....maybe not the best but good.....also the tournament finding can be a little hectic, but i will agree that it is much better than at full tilt. You can change the themes ect on pokerstars which is cool and you can even make your own theme...its also the best poker around

I can barely tolerate the blinking turn indicator on PokerStars. I asked support if it could be turned off. They said no. Gives me eyestrain unlike any other site.
