Where should I start with a $50 dollar bankroll?

I want to put $50 dollars into a poker site and I have 4 sites downloaded... (PS, Full Tilt, UiltimetBet, Bodog) I've been testing all of them the past couple months and its hard to test running through play money chips. What stakes should I play at to build my bankroll to its full potential? I want to be very serious at online poker and I'm looking for the best advice... Thanks Guys

Ok here is my opinion, some people might disagree with me. I personally think full tilt is easiest site to build money on but its very hard to start with 0. pokerstars its easy to build from 0 but its hard to keep going. ( my opinion). I would put it on full tilt and just play the 3.30 90 man and build up my br. Then after i build my br to about 200$ i would do some cash tables and some other tourneys, but its up to u and i dont know what kind of games u play. gl bud

but man those 3 dollar 90 person are turbos, have a lot of fools, so your gonna have to catch cards early, and avoid bad beats, playing in those 3 dollar 90 person knockout turbos your talking about is almost like playing in a freeroll. i dissagree totally.

if you werent in usa u could play on a site (doylesroom.com) they have the best freerolls in the world. Now its like if you play one raked hand that day your qualified for a 500 dollar freeroll that night. play 50 raked hands u start with like 4000 chips instead of 1000. but then when i played there the month of june they had a 500 freeroll and a 1000 freeroll everyday just to celebrate summer time if your not in america thats what you need.

PS, Full Tilt, UiltimetBet, Bodog

out of these 4, If I can do over
I'd probably go with Full Tilt
and do rakeback

Americans can play on Doyle's Room now. Been able to for awhile. If the OP is considering that site.

It's very difficult to give relevant advice here, mainly because we dont know what type of games you like. Do you like cash games, limit holdem, sng's? If the $50 is likely to be your main deposit for the forseeble future then read up on the bankroll management threads, there's plenty of them.

If you plan on cash games I know Stars do 1/2c games so you could start there and work your way up.

I built my roll up on Stars on the sng's, I wouldn't advise against building a roll this way, but the variance seems to be much higher. However if you use sensible BRM you should be fine.

Remember, building a BR takes time and a lot of effort. For the majority of us it's a grind. You need to be patient. Yes some can make really rapid advances, this usually involves running extremely hot and some major risk with your BR. But take your time and read up on a lot of strategy stuff, GL.

Freerolls

Bodog do regular $2 ten-player SitNGo tournies where they pay the top 5 players, this is quite a good way to build bankroll because it's reasonably easy to end up in the top five

You should go to Full Tilt and stick to SNGs at 5% of your roll ($2 SNGs) to start, and move up the ladder that way. I have put $50.00 on FT too many times and gone right into $1/2 Limit and lost it quick (and other times made it quick)...it's too much of a gamble for me now. I have been put on sick runs and taken out at the knee too many times by that site. I made $50. turn into over 10K a year or so ago...I took it right into a $5/10 Limit game and just went up and up. Eventually I was playing $30/60 Limit and making tons of money, but FT always F*CKS me one way or another. they start giving me sick cards, just to have them either get sucked out on or never hit...Anyway, good luck

you don't really want to reach it "the fastest" - that would generally imply bad bankroll management. here are 3 of the links that might be useful:

good luck!

Ultimatebet hands down, without a doubt, no contest, etc.

This is the ONLY site where you can get a $0.50 +0.05 SNG and can easily stay within bankroll guidelines with very very little moeny-- note that the rake is only 10%, unlike sites such as FT, where they rape you at the lower limits.

Climbing the Ladder

It took me a month or so (maybe not even) to turn $50.00 into over $10K, but believe me this is extrememly atypical! I started with the minimum buy-in at $5/10 Limit ($50.), turned that into $200.00 and jumped right into the minimum buy-in at $10/20 Limit ($200.). I skipped right over $3/6 Limit because it is, in my opinion filled with the biggest donks of them all. Once I got up to $600.00, which is the minimum in $30/60 Limit I went right in. From there I stayed at $30/60 Limit until I was over $10K. I would buy-in with $1K, double up and leave. If I was bored and wanted to play, but not risk too much I would go into $2/4 Limit with a hundred and screw around. I exhibited probably the worst bankroll management anyone could by doing this and I wish I never had. With $10K, according to most I should have been playing lower limits. I would stick to what I said in my original post (especially if you want to keep from making any more deposits) and only risk 5% of your roll at any given time. I also saw that someone had posted some links regarding this; these are probably going to get more in depth for you and you should check them out. Keep us posted on how it's working for you!

Wasn't Ultimatebet one of the sites that had allegations of super-users?

Pacific Poker have 88c+8c SNGs, and regular 20c, 25c and 50c MTTs - but I can't say that I'd particularly recommend PP overall

you know this doesn't matter to people with bankrolls of under several thousand anyway, don't you? besides, those allegations at least were not proven.

Bodog has the beginners SnGs from $2 - $16 for 10 people which all pay 5 people. The also have some two table SnGs that are also beginners and pay eight places I think. Bodog also has a few MTTs that are considered beginners. Any beginners multi-table tournament pays double the payout of a regular multi-table tournament.

The one problem I have is the beginners SnGs can take forever. I have played some $2 beginners that have gone for 90+ minutes. However, it seems the higher the buy-in the quicker the tourny goes. This is odd in my opinion.
