Where to play now for U.S. players?

Like many others, I am blocked from joining real money games on pokerstars. Unfortunately it is the only site I currently have a bankroll. So....

Anyone have a suggestion of where it might be safe to deposit and play for U.S. Players?

I think Bodog is safe, as they have already had their go round, but nothing is guaranteed.
Doyle's room might be okay...

what about carbon and merge?

Carbon is fine right now, but who knows what the future brings...I am going to continue playing there.

Bodog eh, might be enough to get me to quit online poker.

I have money on Lock as well as UB, but im gona wait and see what happens before i do anything more on UB.

I have been having to play at Bodog now for a while as I live in Washington state.

Could be a good thing for Bodog, I assume many players will relocate there and prize pools will be larger. Unfortunately, the games may not be as easy now.

I am also playing Bodog. Fingers crossed that they don't have the same issue!

FYI I updated the US poker sites page with a list of sites that still accept US players.

Interestingly enough, Stars will let me register for tourneys using fpps or freerolls. Not that it really matters.

If you're American...I wouldn't suggest putting too much money..if any...into an online poker site period..until things develop a bit more. You might be seeing it go up in smoke.

I'm taking this opportunity to take a leave of absence from the game of poker, before this crap happened my bankroll was up from what I deposited in the first place, and it was a small bankroll to boot.

I should of seen this coming back when I started playing online poker, as a U.S. citizen, I have to admit I am sickened by how our government is banning things not just poker but other stuff as well.

I have been playing the NL rings at FT all night. To my knowledge, the depositing and withdrawing has stopped but one can still play with their current bankroll.

Yeah, i tried out doyles tonight, made an account, it wanted me to upgrade the site and it wouldnt load up, also it wouldnt let me register for a free roll sng game. Didnt much care for the game selection, so i guess for now im staying on Lock , Tried to make a Bodog account last night and it wouldnt let me for some reason, kept giving some error message when i hit the Join button.

Just tried to open FT and they said there is a new update. Tried and they said cannot update and try again later. Of course I'm wondering about my money. Is it gone forever?

I could not get the update to download either. I went to the fulltiltpoker.co.uk site someone else mentioned and was able to download from there. However the site won't let me register for any freerolls or cash tournaments or cash tables. It also would not let me register for a FTP tournament. I'm feeling pretty screwed right now.

The US Dept. of Justice has taken over www.fulltiltpoker.com. I assume this means our money is gone. I just wonder if they will assess fines to all US players.

There is nothing to fine us for, we did nothing wrong or illegal.

I play on Carbon just because that was where I won some off a CC freeroll awhile back and went from there. I can tell you a little about it.

There MTT's for the most part are soft. You just have to find out what times the ones you want to play in are. Thats what got my roll started on Carbon though, some solid finishs in MTT's.

They offer some good SNG's but they take some time too fill up, if you are use to FT and PS then you will think it takes years.

I don't play much on the tables, so I can't really tell you anything about there cash games.

Overall I like Carbon, i'm a learning player and still do alright on there. There just not a lot of traffic on there.

say they take US players too.

Even sadder is,the feds will prollt visit forums like Cardschat,to see where everyone is playing now,and go after them next...
