What's wrong w/ Carbon??

Latley every time I try to log onto Carbon it gives me a REAL hard time! First it downloads I don't know what it is---then it comes on and just keeps loading and loading and loading---NOT connecting! And when I try to get out or even minimize, NOTHING happens and it all freezes!! Then I gotta reset my whole computor!! Anybody else having any problems with this site??

See if the site has been blocked from your computer. Go to internet options in tools. Click on the privacy tab. Go to the sites tab. You can either scroll through the domains list and see if it isblocked there or just type the address of the site right in and hit allow. Try this and see what happens.

I've run into a sort of similar problem sometimes when it just won't open and load properly. Then I close it and try again and it works.

probably your firewall don't allow carbon to connect to the internet

I'm having a hell of a time trying to get Carbon Poker to work. It keeps getting stuck on the Log in button and freezing my whole computer up. I have tried disabling everything and even running my computer in Safe Mode with Networking to see if I could get on and play a few games. I have had no such luck. I'm currently dealing with Carbon Pokers IT team and waiting for an answer.

This is so frustrating. I'm running 32-bit Vista.

An update to my problem of Carbon Poker Not Working, I'm also going to start my own thread.

The Carbon Poker IT support has proven to be a real joke. After I provided them with an in depth look into my computer including every audio and video codec I use, they responded back with a cut and paste directional telling me to allow Carbon Poker through AVG Firewall. I already told them I tried disabling AVG and furthermore even running the computer in safe mode with NOTHING running.

They told me to contact my computers IT support team concerning the issue.

This did kind of piss my off. After all, I'm spending my time and resources trying to solve a problem that is caused by their software to make THEM money?!?

Something just doesn't seem right...

Have you tried uninstalling Carbon, reboot the computer and then reinstall? That's the first thing I'd do.

Tried uninstalling reinstalling with no luck. I've moved the thread to a tech forum support blog to see if I can get some assistance.

It just pisses me off that Carbon Poker Support wasn't at all helpful. If they act this way when you're not even a player yet, I can only imagine what to expect when a payment problem occurs.

working fine for me. have you tried the beta version yet? it looks pretty much the same but i think its a bit less resource hungry.
