Whats up with Ultimate Bet

I just joined Ultimate Bet and it seems to me that the play style at the site is insansely loose I have been playing there for about two weeks now and I am just continually amazed at the plays that I have been seeing. I want to know if the cash tables are this way as well or do the players treat the cash tables like what they are.

Don't find Ultimatebet to be any different than other large site, MTT, SnG or Ring. You don't mention at what stakes, so that could also factor in.

if you are on the micro nl tables i can say its loose.....so loose you cant really even play strategy....soooo many maniacs.....its like every table is full of maniacs....which was why i quit playing there....oh that and the scam let get pulled on them.....

online poker is donk city and all the sites are the same, if ur playing in thelow limit games it doesn't matter where u play, it is donks around every corner. Get stoned and drunk and play some poker.

Well i know that, all to well but at 2NL and 4Limit, they are easy to beat, just play smart, raise......
Thought it does get better, at the .05/.10 10Limit tables...

I have been trying to get to the ten million dollar mark for the 50 dollar bonus to help my bankroll Hell at this point I am doing almost anything to help my bankroll and every single table be it NL or Limit and every game I have played as well as absolutely all the tournments I have played in there I have just consistedly seen maniacs I am giving serious thoughts to stopping playing there because I dont want to be out drawn by some nut on a absolute donk move and lose everything I scraped out now granted I know that its called gambling for a reason but I dont have the money and time to risk and suffer to many fools

OK, you need to play TIGHT, and if theres a str8 draw check the hand... plus here are the tips i posted in my 2K post

1. Play in the games you like aka MTTS, Sit&Gos, ring game's, play were you are best at to start. Starting in Ring games can eat your BR quick.
2. learn BRM, your BR is your life line, and if you take care of it, it will take care of you.. Also DON'T move up in limits till your BR is at the right level, that also means when your on tilt to move down in limits.
3. Don't fall in love with your hand, it can be beat..
4. Bet the right amount on you hands, don't limp, but there may be times that it calls for it, you have to learn that, what tables call for it.
5. don't get mad when your card dead, or losing.. I did that and i should of not done it. Just wait you will get hands to take out them.
6. Post hands your having problems with, let the ones who have been in that spot help.
7. well in games do not push all in, why you ask. Lets set a hand up you have AQ and you push all in and someone has AK KK AA they will call you.
8. Remember AA can be killed.
9. AK is a great starting hand, but is not a made hand.
10. Know when to holdem, and know when to foldem.


One more Don't C-bet with over cards, also try to do some traps
Bet 3X to 4X the big blind, + 1BB per limper....

But odds are at that level you will only win on 1 out of 10 hands, you want a loose table, thats were the money is..
P.S Don't chase flush draws, or str8s draws..... Let them come to you.... AKA you flop them...

From your post below, it looks like you are basing your comments on play money experience.

Since you are working toward a VERY small BR (from your description) the play will not get much better than what you see for play chips. What serious play do you expect for VERY little (if any) investment by others?

A small BR will have you playing low buy-in tourneys and micro ring games. Penny ante games have hordes of penny ante mentality players.

You can do OK by playing your best game, but there will always be the luckboxes and donkeys at low and micro limits online. Get used to it. It's the same on EVERY site, not just Ultimatebet.
