Default is a max of 8, you can email support and they will increase it to 16.

I have done 12 before and then it wouldn't let me, emailing support is the thing to do if you want to increase the amount of tables you can play at 1 time so effexor is right.

This might be true for the new software, but at one time you could do 16 tables then e-mail support to add even more. If you want to play more just ask support.

My max is 8 and then I get the email support message.

I really don't need to be playing that many tables at once, so it isn't worth the effort.

When I play at full tilt, I normally just play at two different table and sometimes I play on five different tables. I think its diffucult to think with just four table, I think that 16 tables is just to much to have up at the same time. I guess if you have 3 or 4 different monitors, its ok but on a single pc it would drive me nuts LOL.

I've played as many as 4 before but my max that I feel confident playing is only 2. I don't see how anyone could play 16 or more. I'd lose my BR really quick.

Start slower. Do 9 for awhile, and you'll get used to it. Then add 3 more. Same thing, next thing you know you're playing a lot at once. Of course you're going to likely be exploitable, but if you're at smaller stakes, it doesn't matter.

DennisGPunkt used to 16+ table $50nl and I'd sit back in awe watching him crush.

Sounds like fun!

Those FT tables move a lot faster than Stars, so 16 is a reasonable max.

I've actually only been playing 3 or 4 tables the last two days, instead of 16, and wow, my profit has gone through the roof. I should have listened to all of you guys sooner.

4 tables is easy enough to watch and get reads on people. With 16 you are just relying on HUD stats basically. I usually play between 2 and 6 depending on if I wanna watch a movie while I do it.

I've gotten those chat questions a couple of times. I'm amazed I even noticed, though, since I don't pay much attention to chat.

I WAS WONDERING ABOUT THAT. IT IS UNREAL THAT A SITE WOULD QUESTION YOU ON CHAT WHILE YOU ARE TRYING TO PLAY 16+ TABLES AT ONCE, I AM SURPRISED AT ANYONE WHO WOULD SEE THAT , AND WHAT IF YOU ARE A PLAYER THAT TURNS YOUR CHAT OFF? I WOULD AT LEAST, SEEMS LIKE IT WOULD BE ADDED DISTRACTIONS THAT YOU DO NOT NEED. WHY DON'T THEY JUST CALL YOU AT YOUR HOUSE TO PROVE IT OR SOMETHING ALONG THEM LINES?

I've watched some PROs 16 table it before. It is crazy to watch. I would never be able to do it, but it is sure fun to see money fly around like that. HAHA. I heard on FTP 16 is the max, I see it come up on the info in chat a lot....but I guess if you have the ability to do more than 16, why not?

Well, if your a winning player that has a very good chance of success, then why not maximize the amount you win in a day or a week etc. However, the more tables u play at once, the less likely you are of getting reads of players and things so this might make u lose...u just gotta find a balance i guess

This also helps to reduce variance.

a lil extreme....?

why you would want to run 20+ tables at one time is beyond me. Theres no way you could effectively play right.

You can only do this when you have a very good hand selection, play TAG and can click very very fast. Also you need to have a lot of automatism in your poker playing.
