what are your thoughts on cake poker ?

I play at cake poker and seem to be doing well there . I was wondering if anyone else plays on this site and if they do what are your screen names so i can always say hi if i ever run into you ? also what are your opinions of this site ? do you like it or dislike it ?

OFC had a competition between poker forums on Cake recently, so a number of us played there. I think the general opinion was negative, in terms of software as well as what some found trying some of the tables.


But, if it works for you, good stuff. There aren't too many here that play there though.

I only play freerolls online and Ive found cakes 350 one of the easiest to qualify for. Ive played 2 there and won 15 on one. I actually like their layout buts its not got a following yet. I think it probably will, I remember when pokerstars came in second to party poker .

I opened an account there nonths ago, found the look, feel, and such not at all to my liking. I hadn'tplayed there in prolly 6 months until just before the OFC events. I played in both the freeroll and buyin, and still don't like the place, so I'll probably go back to ignoring the 30 or so I have left in my account there.

I prefer Donut Poker or Bagel Poker. Something with a hole in it.

Like NineLions says, I opened it just for the OFC competition and haven`t played there since, so you`re not likely to see me there much.

Having said that, I thought the opposition there looked pretty soft, and I figure I`ll go back there one day when I`m doing nothing else and see how far the $20 left in my account will take me.

Can`t say I liked the software much, and I probably won`t have the patience to grind it out for days on end to build a proper BR, but you never know.

Okay, so how about cheese poker, perhaps swiss cheese, to satisfy the hole in it requirement.
