| What is your "Rush Week" goal? I have decided to not attempt to clear in my account the highest bonuses during the "Rush Week" promotion on Full Tilt Poker. I will play regularly as if the bonuses weren't active because this time the value of the rewards is miserable in proportion if compared to the action and the amount of rake that you have to leave on the field. What plan have the other members of this forum? |

| My RUSH goal is to play none of them.. and to take most of my MTT play over to other sites during this week. I think RUSH mtts are a joke. As far as RUSH ring tables go.... idk.. I lost interest last week when I lost a big hand, & then two more big hands in-a-row (yah.. only 3 hands.. wahh) - - I got a guy who actually called off a 5bet allin, 150bb's deep preflop with T2.. vs my AA, flop comes T62 & he holds for the win, lol. Next hand was almost equally as bad. The other, I 3bet pre w KK in LP.. QTo calls OOP. I flop TopSet he calls big flop bet.. then I lead flop.. he shoves w a gutterball.. I call with Top Set.. and he hits... sigh.. fk RUSH! (too many 1 hit wonders on the tables... in typical ring game, I'm happy to reload with players like this on my table.. w RUSH.. I don't see them again (sure I might see another one.. but not into it) I think RUSH turns the site into a bit of a monkey site. |

| re: What is your "Rush Week" goal? poker I've moved up to triple-tabling $25NL and I am doing okay. It's swingy but entirely beatable. My goal now is to come out with a $200 profit for the week (including rakeback and $50 bonus) while putting in less than 8 hours work. But what'll happen will happen. I'm not going to do anything special to meet that goal, other than make sure I get my hour a day in to get the 100 points. |

| I'm close to 4 for 4 getting the maximum 1k pts and will try to go 7 for 7 for the $250 bonus. I only tried 1 rush mtt this week and that was the daily dollar with 9k players so fat chance of hitting the finaltable. I may try those 135 player rush sng's to get in that freeroll. I play rush just about every day to get iron ironman level and this month I'm working towards unlocking $600 bonus. Rush is awesome. I don't understand why PokerOrifice says its for monkeys but I find it very profitable. I was down like 4k on fulltilt cashtables according to ptr and have got it all back playing rush this year. It's the best thing to happen to my game. I was worried when ftp changed the shortstacking rules in January but was very happy to get hooked on rush at the same time. Who knew I could play deepstack well? Rush is the best. I can easily stop my play and take little 5 minute breaks when I want to and I don't have to suffer through table breakdowns where 2 sitout then suddenly everyone leaves. The fish are constantly rotating around the fishbowl so I don't have to hunt through all the tables like on Pokerstars. I was doing nl 25c50c most of the year but to get 1k pts easier I tried the 50c$1 and the last 4 days I made a couple hundred though today I'm down about 150. Earlier this week I had 650 bigblinds on the 50c1 lol 1 of the entries I couldn't lose while the other 3 entries were up and down. |

| My goal was the 5 dollar bonus, which I cleared, then the 10 and a seat in the 50k freeroll... Maybe I have this all wrong, but I kind of like the Rush play. I actually feel it improved my play. It made me a tighter, more position orientated player, and taught me where the fold button is. Sure it is full of bad beats (all in KK vs J9) and swings, but if you stick to the game plan of quality cards not quantity card, I think it can be profitable. I realize you are playing blind, against opponents that you have no information on, but it can teach you to read bets, and observe not just your cards but the cards on the board. A patient, relaxed, quality player can sit back and wait for the opportunity. As I typed this, this is what happened..... I signed in and joined the Rush with the minimum table buy in of 10 dollars, and I like to play at a level outside my comfort, as I think it keeps me more focused and cautious. anyway up to this point i had seen 200 pairs of cards but only 12% of flops (so wicked tight). and then the Rush Full Tilt Poker Game #22348717921: Table Apollo - $0.10/$0.25 - No Limit Hold'em - 19:56:28 ET - 2010/07/15 Seat 1: squintz111 ($14.79) Seat 2: Guenter3 ($7.17) Seat 3: PsychoPat1337 ($40.20) Seat 4: RainyDay77 ($29.97) Seat 5: rossnyc ($51) Seat 6: Johnny2rubs ($39.79) Seat 7: Alianta ($30.16) Seat 8: MasterAsylum ($27.04) Seat 9: kmd1072 ($28.51) Alianta posts the small blind of $0.10 MasterAsylum posts the big blind of $0.25 The button is in seat #6 *** HOLE CARDS *** Dealt to Johnny2rubs [Ah Ad] kmd1072 folds squintz111 calls $0.25 Guenter3 calls $0.25 PsychoPat1337 raises to $1.35 RainyDay77 folds rossnyc folds Johnny2rubs raises to $2.45 Alianta folds MasterAsylum folds squintz111 folds Guenter3 calls $2.20 PsychoPat1337 calls $1.10 *** FLOP *** [As Qd Td] Guenter3 bets $4.72, and is all in PsychoPat1337 has 15 seconds left to act PsychoPat1337 calls $4.72 Johnny2rubs raises to $37.34, and is all in PsychoPat1337 calls $32.62 Johnny2rubs shows [Ah Ad] Guenter3 shows [Ac 5c] PsychoPat1337 shows [Qs Qc] *** TURN *** [As Qd Td] J♦ *** RIVER *** [As Qd Td Jd] 4♥ Johnny2rubs shows three of a kind, Aces PsychoPat1337 shows three of a kind, Queens Johnny2rubs wins the side pot ($63.34) with three of a kind, Aces Guenter3 shows a pair of Aces Johnny2rubs wins the main pot ($21.01) with three of a kind, Aces *** SUMMARY *** Total pot $87.35 Main pot $22.11. | I have succeed in my goal of totally avoiding the RUSH week frenzy. I am so weary of those promo's, and can't remember any member actually posting about ever actually benefiting from those promos that I NOW TREAT THOSE PROMOS LIKE THE PLAGUE INFESTED DEMONS THEY MOST CLEARLY ARE...... |

im thinking one of the only initial reads someone is going to get other then bets is your stack size, plus it helps to minimize the swing (which I admit the game is full of) I would rather play a regular MTT for sure, but i do enjoy the Rush from time to time My question was sarcastic |

2) I had my second best run of the week today, so I'm just $1.25 shy of $200 profit, without including the $50 bonus or $20+ in rakeback. 3) I'm probably cursed for Sunday. |

| my goal was to get the $50. i'm 6 days in. but i'm sorry i started it's to crazy. these mtf's are killing me with thier raises with nothing and whatever. they raise and call call call. i'll finish off tomorrow and i don't think i'll play the ring games for a long time. had my fill of rush. i'll still play some of the micro tournies but they're a joke too. i win and lose and win and lose. |

Silver ($50) bonus achieved at just before 1:00AM today. Made a tad less than $280 profit *not* including rakeback or the $50 bonus. I think I should have played a lot more hours. Oh well. I can still go back later today and play all the bonus seekers. I think they're going to be more conservative today (Sunday) though. Results from a post in the Rush thread HERE. |

| I got about 10 1k pt days this year but this week I figured what the hell and would try to get the max $250 bonus. The first day I played my usual nl 25c 50c rush and it took like 8 hrs playing 4 at once. Then I moved up to nl 50c$1 and actually won about 600, plus I completed the midyear ironman bonus for another 600 I wonder if fulltilt will release any figures of how many people got the maximum bonus. Unfortunately, I didn't qualify for the 50k rush freeroll. Saturday I tried 8 4.40 135player sng and didn't cash in any. I figured I'm trying to get into a freeroll where I'll either win 50bux or get nothing and I'm doing badly in the qualification tourneys so I gave up. |
