Well, got up to about 27,000 with 60 people left, then the money came. After blind being big and me playing so tight, with some raises and missed flops, went out in 31st. $100 isnt too bad, only $55 profit for 3 hours work. Getting better though!

FULL TILT TOURNEY

Finished number 6 in the FT Limit HORSE tourney last night and won myself $5. My first time finishing in the money. Had to go all in 6 times because I was short stacked just to make the top 27.

Merry Christmas to me

I have been playing at Ultimate Bet lately. I also have money in Absolute Poker and Cake. I play the limit cash games and tourneys at Ultimatebet and also enjoy the tournaments at Absolute.

The first online poker site that I played on with real money was paradise poker. Back then they were the leaders in offshore poker. I did really well there building my bankroll in the ring games but never played alot of tournaments. I would like to know how that site is playing now...so if anyone plays there, please respond as to how you are doing there and if you like it. thanks

I live in Las Vegas most of the year, but I am currently visiting South Florida. I went to the Isle in Pompano Beach to see what their poker room was all about. I actually was very impressed with the style of the room and the amount of BAD players. They offer 1-2,2-4, and 3-5 limit as well as 1-2,2-4,2-5, 5-10 NL. but the catch is you can't buy in for more then a hundred dollars in the NL games. This kinda makes it a crap shoot. this place is also a harness track, so the have so many big screen TV's with parimutual racing from around the country. Seriously the players here are BAD, so if you are in the area, stop in and make some money.

Oh yea, the Isle also has MTT and nice SnG's from 60 to 250 and bounty tourneys. Plus huge amount of slots!

I prefer sit&go's (shorthanded) buy in from $2 till $10.
depends on how much cash I have left.
I play cash tables at $0.25/0.5 but I have mixed feelings about this.
Higher is no option because that would cost me too much money (or the buy in's are too high) lower is no option at all. Because there are too much gamblers at lower stakes. It's no fun anymore loosing with pocket rockets against 24 offsuited.

Omaha Hi/Lo is definitely the best game to play in cash games. Your more likely to win more than lose!!!!

I like 3,40$ Turbo Sit&Goīs with 10-45 players, but sometimes I play 13$ 6-max.
Normally I play Holdem NL, but also Seven-Card-Stud or Omaha (0.01/0.02$ blinds), because I canīt play them very well^^.
Besides I like freerolls to go all-in .....

Won my first MTT last night. 1 dollar horse tourney with 400 players. 100 payout was nice!

Been focusing on tourneys that aren't HE Cuz the play seems so much softer and a lot smaller fields

I personally only enjoy playing tournaments. Once in a great while I will play an SNG or a ring game, but not often at all. I like playing at Ultimate Bet and Poker Stars and also like the Micro gaming network (Poker Time, Poker Rewards, etc.). I haven't ever been able to make the "big one" yet. My highest winning to date has been $300.00. I also like RAZZ tourneys occassionally.

I mostly play 1-Table SnGs on 2 rooms, Absolute & BoDog. I play there cause that's where i earn some free cash while playing different freerolls.
AbsolutePoker : $5.00+$0.50 / $10.00+$1.00 - 9 Players table in NLTH.
BoDogPoker : $5.00+$0.50 / $10.00+$1.00 - 10 Players table in NLTH.
I play those kind of games cause it's not as long as tournaments, near 1:45 max, which is better for me.

Seeing as how we now have the Get a Game Going/Rail Requests sub-forum, I think I'll close this.
