made it to the second break. I dont play many tournys at all and am just getting into them so this is the farthest ive ever been. 1-63rd is paid. Originally 749 entrants. Im currently in 204 out of 294. Have 10K in chips, roughly 6K below average. I didnt do the addon at break or any rebuys which maybe i should have. Oh well, see how far i can get, prolly gonna have to make a move soon.

Look to double up Troy, POSITION use it ... if you have Ax on the button or cutoff and everyones folded to you go all-in. Dont try this if anyone limps or raises in front of you, ONLY if they've folded to you in cuttoff or the DB.

Heads up gives a shortstack an edge, ofcourse stack size makes a differance too, I wouldnt try it with Ax if the stack to my left is 2X over the average he might call you just cause he can afford it. If a chip leader is to your left when you try that hold out for A/J and better for an all-in move.

If the chip stacks to your left are less than 3X yours try it with Ax.

Good luck

Railbird is someone who watches the game from the "rail" so to speak.

I'm afraid to give advice LOL .... you're doing pretty good I don't know your ecperiance. 1200 blinds this is the fun part of the tournament for me.

Watch out for Lilly .. push HodgePodge if you can if everyone folds to you in cuttoff and you have an Ace.

Play your game don't listen to me or tell me to shut up if ya want.

Cant talk as a railbird in Absolute Poker.

Actually now your down to 13k and the blinds are 1600, you need an all-in hand High pairs, A/K or A/Q ... I would try any ace if I'm in late position and everyone folded to me in cuttoff or DB at this point.

exactly what i was thinking, thats only 8 BB, just enough to exert a small amount of authority, and maybe put a dent in a bigger stack, or get an average stack to fold and take the blinds. I've been waiting for one and havent seen a hand in forever.

Cool a break ... kinda like a time out in football. It's all-in or all-out ... I really like this part of a tournament .... you can come back and win it from here. I've done it many times. Just need a little luck and a couple of double ups to make you intimidating,

Hope ya get some good cards and flops after break.

Depending on your read of what's ahead of you yeah. I still will fold to a rise and a re-raise in front of you with Ax .... A/J or better any position .. Ax with no more than 1 limper and no re raise's.

In LP Ax is all-in if folded around to me.

Bah! ya had fun and got experiance ... was a GG and good run ya don't always get that far.

Suited A/9 UTG short stacked wasn't a bad move ... some people like it .. but theres a reason the pro's say "POSITION, POSITION, POSITION' you just doubled up I would have folded that in EP and waited a bit more.

I want the edge even shortstacked ... too many positions in front of you who can have anything.

Easy for me to say after the fact... I'm not criticizing you specificly .. I see that play a lot and sometimes it pays off ... that's a difficult situation to each their own. I just like using position when shortstacked and will fold even A/J in EP if I think I will be challenged down the line.

Still 104 is a good run against 749 entrys.

Owww, stupidly attacked the chip leader. Went out in 41st place. That was a dumb thing to do, could probably have folded my way to the final table.
