What are tournament dollars?

what it is ?
i play some sng on ftp but never convert to tounament dollars

if you win a satellite to another tournament, you can (usually) unregister from the target tournament and receive the buy-in in tournament dollars, which you can then use to enter any tourney of your choice.

You can't use tourney dollars for cash games, nor can you withdraw them

Tournament dollars are money you won on satellites or even freelolls.

You can use that TD to enter tournaments (corresponding to the price ofcourse) or convert it to cash (unregister it and convert it).

Tournament dollars works for buy in in both SnG and tournaments.

If you play a satelite and win e.g. a ticket worth 10 $.

You might have the chance to unregister from the main event and get tournament dollars instead.

That way you can play 10 1 $ tournaments or SnGs, that might be better for your brm.

Convert it to cash ?
Afaik you can only use them for tournament buy ins.
I believe you can sell them but I never did that, so I don't exactly know about the process.

Full Tilt will allow you to convert your T$ to cash for a fee.
Obviously if you ever play SnG's or Tournaments then there is no need to covert and suffer a loss, but if you somehow win T$ but only ever play cash games, then it is an option.

tournament dollars are money that you cant withdraw and you can use it only for tournament buy ins and/or ring games to convert them to real money

tournament dollar = dollar coupon, you may use it in stars to buy tournaments but not using them in cash games.

but google find some website, you may sell them by the ratio of 0.97 tournament dollars to 1 dollar OR even better ratio.
through pokerstars's transaction system, and it is pretty safe.

the most important thing is that you can change dollars of tournament dollars of money for a small commission.

You can also play a STG paying with dollars entry tournament and if you win you loaded atu account dollars of money which you can collect.

in conclusion the dollar tournament serves as the dollar money alone can not remove.

Never heard of this. So basic given the above responses its like a gift card thats ear marked for tournaments. No ring games. Is this offered on all sites?

T$ are money that you win from freerolls, you can register in another tournament with them, you can convert them into real money with a 5% fee, but you can't play with T$ in cash games or casino and you can't withdraw them.
