| What Rush Poker is Good For I did real well at Rush poker when it first came out. Then the opposite happened, I did terrible. Now I see it as something that eliminates the one edge I might possibly have--being able to outthink my opponents based on their behavior. It's too random. But Rush is good for one thing: Running up your FTP points real fast to get your bonus. If you play supper nitty and take no chances and play super fast, you can pretty much break even and get your bonus in a relatively short time multi-tabling 2 or 3 tables. |

| Have to say, the Rush Poker is fun compared to waiting 3 minutes for one hand of poker to complete at a 9 person table. I mean what is everyone doing out there, sometimes it takes 6 minutes to complete a hand, its like they get frequent player points for how long they are at the table. |

| i dont really like rush cash games but i have done a few sng's and mtt's (the freeroll) its great fun but its hardly poker, if i wanted to get my cash bonus up faster i would just multi table more tables in ring games not a big fan of rush tho |

At lower levels it's probably just variance/bad play. Obviously DoN being a game with small edges, you will suffer from those quite easily. |

| re: What Rush Poker is Good For i did well last month with rush... my br tripled up just for half a month of playing 2/5c rush. then after blogging about my winnings and how i played well in rush, it all started to went bad. before the month ends i lost half of the winnings i made... two more days and i would have qualified for bronze iron man freeroll. i stopped! the beats are killing me and i cant handle unbelievable calls from almost everybody. now im just enjoying my remaining winnings from normal tables and sngs... i may take some time again before i rush......... :-( |

I'm a recovering rushoholic. Only dropped about $3k trying to beat it, so i guess it could have been worse. Back to real poker now. |

| Rush poker is the absolute death of poker. There is absolutely no edge you gain from it that you couldn't from multitabling normal cash. On top of that its impossible to make reads unless you are playing in 1/2 dollar where there might only be a hundred people or so. Absolute garbage imo, but great for Full Tilt who gets to increase their rake 3 fold from the players that wouldn't normally multitable but play rush poker frequently. |
