What are The Odds of This

I`m watching the WPT on TV rite now, this one guy got pocket KK 3 times in half an hour, so my question is> whats the odds of this happening < the WPT is on every Sat. from 12 to 2 pm where i live>>> buck

I think if you actually wanted to know the odds, buck, we'd have to estimate how many hands he played within that 1/2 hour, and then compare that with the actual probability of getting kings in that many hands...either way that's pretty incredible and I'm sure he enjoyed all three of em

I saw David Sklansky get pocket Aces a bunch in a small time-frame last year i think. It was that series that had caro, sexton, sklansky, scotty nguyn, etc.. and there was a point system.. can't remember exactly.

But yeah, I think it was like 4 times or something... ridiculous.

it was at the final table, he got KK back to back hands then about 4 hands later he got KK, it was in the 1st half hour of the show, he probally played 8 or 9 hands>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>.buck

I know it seems like a short time that he got all those pocket kings, but you must also factor in that it is only 2 hours from start to finish on the tv and maybe 8-12 hours in real life. The tv people only play the more exciting hands to make it better tv watching.
