Used to play poker

Hi Everyone!

I used to play poker then had a child about 3 years ago. Went legit and now work for a living. Wanted to get back in the swing and play some online poker. Is FullTilt the way to go? I havent seen anything on PartyPoker... is PP still good?

Are you American? If so, your options are limited to Full Tilt, PokerStars and a few others. Party Poker is not among the American friendly sites. I play at Stars and Full Tilt. I prefer Tilt for cash games and Stars for tournaments. Stars has alot of satellites and re-buys which I like but I'm not a fan of their support. However, a cash game is a cash game and I'm more comfortable with the Full Tilt software and interface. Also I've never had a problem cashing out. That said you really can't go wrong with either. GL and hope to see you at the tables.

Nothing wrong with FT but if you want my opinion go with PokerStars!! Especially if you are going to play micro-stakes. PP no longer accepts players from the US. If you live in the US your best options are Pokerstars, fulltilt(these are by far your best 2 options), UltimateBet/Absolute (they merged a few years ago - still 2 seperate sites but are now part of the same network). The Cake Poker network(there are several sites under this network now) and Carbon poker also accept US players. Welcome back to the poker scene and GL at the tables. Oh yea and if you do not have an account yet I suggest you go through a rakeback site or some sort of third party poker that offers extra bonuses (Why not?).

re: Used to play poker

As stated already, stick with the bigger sites for US players. (if your american) BUT for sure do what Hambone said and sign up through an affiliate for Rakeback.

I play at alot of sites but Full Tilt, PokerStars and Bodog are the main ones I frequent.

Also Ultimate Bet, Reefer Poker, Power Poker, absolute Poker, Players Only accepts Us player. And maybe even Doyles room now?

Good Luck,.

Please make sure, for your own benefit, to get rake back if you go with Ful Tilt.

Seen/heard too many that thought of that too late and had to go the sometimes long wait if allowed at all to get RB later.

FTP and Stars are about the same for cash out time with checks, but when bank Xfer is working at FTP, they are just a few days.
