Update on poker.com

Anybosy check out the uodate on poker.com recently? It's better for the most part. The music is still in it but it's changed. What's your thoughts on it if you've seen the changes?

Good interface upgrades. However, they changed the points system. Here's my take:

GOOD:
1) You no longer need to stay at a table for 15-hand blocks to get points. You now get them per hand.

BAD:
1) You don't get points for non-raked hands. (Fine, that's only fair but...)
2) There's this way to earn less points, but no way to earn more points. (If there is a new way to get no points on non-raked hands, you should be able to get more points on larger pots like Titan. At the stakes I play, it's either 3 pts or no pts.)

I kept track last night and I was averaging 2 points per hand instead of 3 points per hand. This means it will take longer to clear my bonus. And no, I won't step up in stakes.

I find it ironic that they went through all this effort to attract CC members to their site ($1000-added freeroll, extra bonus, etc.) and then they tighten up after we all join. Didn't Titan do the same thing to us by toughening their bonuses after we joined? Titan was worse, but I just think it's funny. Coincidence?

I think I only played there once since I played the freeroll. I've been trying to build my PokerStars account.

Honestly . . who wants to hear elevator music while in the lobby? I turn off the sounds of the chips and animations...I don't wan't to hear that crap!

...I see no big difference in poker.com's new updated program. It just took me 5 more seconds to find out where the tables were!

I like their $100 Omaha freerolls and they don't fill up as fast as the Hold em ones. Honestly, it's very difficult to register for the hold em freerolls at poker.com.

I do like that you can get more then one game on a page, their old system was brutal if you had more then one game going at a time. I do also like the new look. I've always had the music turned off so it doesn't bother me. I still like the ability to rabbit not that I utilize it often.
