I'm new to the game of poker and I hope this forum helps me step up my game.... actually i just started playing because my best friend just cashed out his bonus for being dealt a "bad beat" for $53,000....(He says he lost the hand too it sounded stupid at first but it's just some weird bonus) Anyways he left a few thousand so that we could both play together after work and it's been awesome i've been loving the site, gotta rep! I just wish he would shut THE **** up about his bad beat....but then again he's my bro and he kind of needed the cash...

Ha Ha very funny...I was serious...I know that at the local casino here is you lose with a fullhouse Aces or better you get this badbeat Jackpot.
So I was wondering..FOR REAL..If there was a site that offered the same type of thing....with GOOD CARDS.....

There are sites on the internet that offer the same thing as your local casino. The Good Cards don't really matter, as a Bad Beat Jackpot hand is going to involve 2 people with REALLY REALLY GOOD CARDS. It's just that one of them is going to actually win the pot and one won't.

Example:
Bad Beat Jackpot is $100,000.

You are dealt KK, other guy gets AA. Flop is KKA. You both go all in. A comes on the turn. Your Quad K's LOSE to Quad A's. You win HALF of the bad beat jackpot $50,000. The guy with Quad A's wins $25,000. The rest of the 6-8 people at your table SPLIT the other $25,000.

Most places require that you have a FULL HOUSE of Aces full of Jacks or better LOSE in order to qualify for the jackpot. Plus BOTH PLAYERS must use BOTH HOLE CARDS in order to qualify. Let's go back to our example. If you had KJ and opponent had AA and flop was KKK and turn was A, and river an A. You'd have Quad K's lose to Quad A's but it would not qualify for the bad beat jackpot, because you didn't use both of your hole cards.
