Ultimatebet/Cereus functionality w PT

Ok, I have PT aimed at the folder that Ultimatebet is writing the HHs to, and there is a text file there, but PT doesn't import them. Anyone else have this issue? I have a tech ticket in at their forum but couldn't find a solution thread there (pat gives instructions for Ultimatebet update PRIOR to cereus conversion).

i couldn't get it to read my Ultimatebet hands either. i tried a number of different things but it just wouldn't work.

Try to import as Absolute. I heard they have the same HH format now. Take your Ultimatebet file path you have in your screeny and put that in your Absolute import settings. Then try to force an import of your Ultimatebet folder with your AB set up. It just might work.

Stick, are you saying to change the location where Ultimatebet saves to or where PT imports from, or both?

No. Just open the Absolute auto-import window and point it to read the Ultimatebet HH folder. Then adjust the other settings and force an import. If the HH's are like Absolute, then the Absolute importer has to read the new Ultimatebet HH format. I think the Ultimatebet importer just reads the old Ultimatebet HH format.

I'm not 100% sure it will work since I don't play Ultimatebet anymore. But I've read references to the new Ultimatebet HH's being like AB's.

ok, PT finds the Ultimatebet files, but it lists them as having been played on Absolute Poker... I think the place Ultimatebet writes them to is static/unchangeable?

Correct, but that's fine I guess. At least you are getting them. You've basically tricked PT into reading them, but you have to accept that PT lists them as Absolute Poker. If that's not a problem, then you are set. Otherwise, you'll have to wait for the PT guys to update and it takes them longer to do things for PT2 since they concentrate more on PT3.

Or just switch to HEM, lol. They had things working within a couple days and their tourney support is near operational. I've been still using PT2 for tourneys, but I'm dumping it as soon as HEM updates their tourney support. HEM is so wonderful for cash games right now.

hey stick or AG, could you possible do a walk thru on this. i have been playing Ultimatebet for awhil now and i would love to import my hands.

I don't understand this concept either I tried getting it to read my hands but no response.
