How are the games at ultimatebet? I been wanting to try it out and thought I'd ask what other people think of it before I do.

yea but most of the people at UB will make ungodly raise's with nothing just to try and get you to fold so they can steal the pot.

I have now played at FullTilt, UltimateBet, and Bodog....and I can tell you that at all 3 sites I have seen players swear up and down that the site is rigged and that "such and such a site is less rigged". This is BS. All of the online poker rooms use the same type of randomized card generator thing. They may differ a bit, but they are generally the same.

As far as UltimateBet, well, if you are playing at 50NL+ they have the Bad Beat Jackpot...but from my personal experience it sucks. They take .50 from every pot and it really kills your winnings. I ended up cashing out and deposited on FT instead.

What i seem to find at UB is that there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of traffic. I like to play sit and goes and at times it seems to take forever to even get one to fill up. There is however a lot of traffic at the cash games tables and if thats your thing then it will be a good site for you.

I don't really like the cash tables, I look more for tourney's that pay well but are not too spendy. I do like sit and go's also and if they do not have those there then I dont think I will try it.

Everone has there own opinions but like all poker sites they have donks.
I use ultimate and think the 45 sng s are spot on.

Here are my thoughts on UB.

SnG's -- take some time to fill up. I've sat in four different SnG lobbys before for 20+ minutes waiting for them to fill. However once they do fill they seem to be "easy" I guess you could say.

Tourneys -- Most of their smaller buy in tournaments are rebuys, and their big Sunday game seems to be a decent game.

Cash Games -- I have not really played but a few hands at their cash tables.

I registered at UB last night so I could join the OFC Aruba challenge. Prior to that, I didnt' even know UB took US players. Go figure.

First impression is that it seems all right, but not too much traffic on it.

Cash games are mainly 6max and no shortstackers. SNGs take forever to load up. MTTs are soft but don't have huge fields.

AbsolutePoker and UltimateBet are twin sites. Better join Absolute cuz graphic is much better.

The thing I like best at Ultimatebet are the Sniper tourneys-- they also have pretty decent satellites to the bigger tourneys.
