Ultimate Bet's Software Update - Feature Discussions, Conversion Issues, Etc

Well for those of you who play on UltimateBet, they have done an upgrade. When I was trying to log on they told me my screenname had already been taken and I had to register a new one. So, pretty much what my point is, is that if you had a screen name you might want to keep then log on and make sure you get it back.

I opened the app, got the update, and only had to change the login ID from my e-mail that they populated to my UB ID. No issues. The only thing different was that my regular ID wasn't in the box; it was my e-mail address.

But no, regardless, UB did not clear out all the screen names and put them up for grabs. lol

Are you sure you didn't just start a 2nd account? Sounds strange, had no trouble transferring. I like the updates, a pokerstars like view of the table and finally a HH you can read.

I panicked because I couldn't remember my password but I finally found one that worked.

Moving this to poker rooms btw...since it is about a poker room.

No trouble changing/upgrading although i wish they kept the cash details etc on the site and not have to go via the interwebnet

Well hell I have no idea......All my account details are the same guess I just changed my name and didnt realize it. OH and BTW now Absolute and Ultimate are linked. If you sign into one you cant sign into the other. and all the trnys are the same with same amount of ppl.

I had to go to live chat for help...they instructed me to contact support with my user name and the answer to my security question to receive an email with log on instructions.

I'm still waiting for a response from tech support.. (thought i already had a thread about this??...) because I woke up with 0$, 0 UB/RAI$E pts, live support told me to wait 20 minutes 3 hours ago.... PLS SOMEONE TELL ME I'M NOT ALONE..... Getting very concerned i'm wary and paranoid about UB in the first place.

I haven't been there yet, doubt I will either. From what I have heard from friends they don't like the transition at all. I had little money on Absolute, but really don't like playing there much so doubt I do go back.

no probs here, just put my user name and password in the login box and everything was still there,, couldnt find Options or preferences though, guess you got to do that at the table, used to be on the main page,,

Oddly, after downloading new software, they somehow dug out my email from Vegas247, which is the only reason I even opened up an alternate email.

After some reconfiguring I got it straight and all my bucks are in place.

The change password option is in the cashier window, upper right. I had to use it after they sent me a new password.

UB is holding all my $$$$$ for some reason and it's really starting to pisss me the hell off, what kind of site are they they just clear out your account and don't even send an e-mail or anything to re-assure me my $$ is safe.. especially on a site like UB where ppl are skeptical in the first place I'm really getting fed up with Phil Hellmuth right now.

Both Ultimate and Absolute have big changes under way, I believe. Probably what Buck has seen is part of that process.

They are updating their software and moving towards combining the two poker rooms into a single shared player base, as I understand it. I haven`t seen much info on the details.

Does anyone else know more about it ?

I can't log onto UB at all. Says it is connecting to a server, but then boots me. I don't know what to do!

If you are having problems logging on, then your computer probably did not update the UB software when you opened it. I was able to log on after updating. If you can't update, then you may want to redownload from UB.

I see a lot to like about the new look.

Chat works, even with bubbles.
Folded Cards view works
And a new look with the Top View table

I was having issues that still arent resolved with changing my password(like to do that from time to time), but actually had no problem updating or logging in. I havent deposited or won any money there for a while and they put 5 bucks on there with the update, so as far as Im concerned SO FAR SO GOOD.

no probs for me and I like the changes so far, seems to be a lot less freerolls but that ok and can't play with ultimate points like you could before

Well I got all my $ back thank god... Imagine waking up with your bankroll gone and no explanation..no e-mail, no heads-up of any kind... I was sure I was hacked

Don't have to imagine. It happened to me. Bodog. Key-logger hack, all $900 gone in 15 minutes joy-riding. Nightmare.
Have also heard it's happened to Fossilman on PokerStars.
