re: ultimate bet wsop seat for a dime poker How many players per table? Also just wondering do you have to make the same thing everytime to go to the next step or what? I mean say the first one pays top 3, the next also pays top 3 and so forth and so on, or does it eventually end up with a person having to win the whole thing?

OK, I'm a total dork so I decided to try to calculate how many step 1 players they will need to get a winner. Firstly, my wife is asleep in the bedroom where my calculator is, so I did all this on paper so it's probably wrong. Secondly, I used the info in this thread so I assumed that step 10 would have 1 winner, but steps 1-9 would each have 2 winners. Also, remember that this will not be the total number of people who pay a dime as many will "win" tickets to previous rounds if they finish high, but not first or second. I also assumed 10-man tables for easy calculating sans calculator. So, for step 10 you need 10 players. For step nine, 5 tables with 2 winners each means you need 50 players. I continued to work backwards from here and arrived at the number 3,903,125 Step 1 players will have to participate to fill that final step 10 table. This is probably incorrect, anyone got the right answer?

Thats not true. If you start at step 1 and work your way through step 10, you win WSOP as well as a trip to the Aruba classic (for the first 10 people only). I think 10 have already done this. IF you start at any other step, even buy in to step 10, and win, then you get a buy in to the main event plus two grand spending dough. IF you take second in the step 10 tourney, then you win $3500, third takes another entry to step 10. Also, there is more than one step 10 table. Currently Im on step 6.

re: ultimate bet wsop seat for a dime poker I've been playing these. Having fun with these and doing well so far. Have 1 step 4, 4 step 3, 2 step 2 tickets that I started from 11 step 1 buy-ins. Took a break from these this week and will start back up later this week. Good luck all and hope someone here wins a step 10.

| Ok, first of all, here is a link to the actual promotion, not just about how step tournies work: http://www.ultimatebet.com/poker-pro...ents-ten-steps Quote:

It's the first 10 people to "conquer" steps 1-10. That doesn't mean make it to step 10, it means win it. So everyone that beats step 10 (meaning taking 1st place in step 10) will win the WSOP prize. In addition to that the first 10 to win step 10 also get the Aruba package. And for both of these, you must start with STEP 1. Quote:
