ultimate bet and a new kind of donkey

OK CC I have been playing at ultimate bet now for a week and ive played the 5 k rebuy guaratee everyday and ive noticed there exists a new kind of donkey at this site one who is willing to put up 40 percent of their chips pre flopp with low suited conectors ...am i crazy or do they know somthing about that site that i dont know ..because these idiots always win ...ace kings ace queens get crapped on constantly and these folks call bets post flopp with nothing but draws and win ...I swear its like im in a nightmare whje i play tourneys at UB...I thought full tilt was bad ..this is almost as if they know Ub is rigged to cater to the underdogg .....and know to play aggressive to aggressive preflopp raises ...like they know u have a hstrong ace and know that UB will give em what they need......tell me folks what do u think... i feel stupid even sayiing it but ive seen it too many times too not think somthing is up ....

If that stragity is winning, ajust your game. Give it a try on a couple of games.

Or not. If they are calling off 40% of their stack pre-flop with suited connectors then well....thats what you want. Suited connectors are only good if you can see a cheap flop. If you have two cards higher than their suited connectors then this is exactly what you want as you will win....60/40 I think it is? Not sure exactly, but you are the favorite. Just keep doing as you're doing and you will beat them out eventually.

If those donks wanna play that way, show them what's up. Your only defense is to start playing ahead of their range. T6o-72o is what you need to VPIP.

it seems the same at pokerstrs I play the 70,000 rebuy it is the same there. I think it is just the rebuy people try and build big stacks early.

seems like a really really bad luck streak agianst loose maniacs, eventually you will win....

The problem you are running into is that Full Tilt Rebuys are pretty tame in comparision to some other sites (at least during the rebuy period). If you think they are wild at UB, dont play at the PokerStars 3 5 or 10 rebuys will any two will do to build a stack and it is not uncommon for some regulars to go 10 15 units each tourny...and many more when they have bad luck.

I play short units...but it is a common accepted rebuy theory to push and/or call with weak preflop hands to catch a bunch of chips and keep pushing (and rebuying) til you get a stack. The reason it can be profitable is that the odds are never that long against you preflop to win, and if you are a good player, once you get chips you are more likely to take it to the FT or an outright win!!!

I made the decision not to play rebuys anymore as I was finding what the OP says.The mentality seems to be 'it's only a $2 tourney so I can reload 10 times.' Maybe you should try the freezeouts.GL.

40% chips,but you didnt mentioned the stack size,and the positon.they are also important factors.If I am in the situation of shoct stack and suitable position.I will also do that.

regardless of where you play the re-buys are always the same..people try to build a stack quickly, i recommend playing freeze out games, im done with the re-buys

Online poker has always been like that and it probably always will.
Every big online room has the same type players in every game you will play in.
Just adjust your style to fit the table,change your play up.
And most of all just be patient.

it seems to me UB is the worst ..it actually make full tilt seem like there are no maniacs there.....i mean just yesterday this guy twice ina row suks out on me and both times putting in money bad pre and post flop and both times i had ace king or king queen and this guy had unsuited low conectors or gapped conectors..ike 85 and 69 and both times called big bets to suk out with two pair ..im gettin so dam frustrated witht these dam rebuys...................and even at the ring games its like UB plants these people at the tourneys and tables to tilt people off cuz its just unreall how these people are playing i mean this scenario im about to portray plays out too many times for me not tosay what the hell is goin on...and i strat to think if i did what they do would i be gettting those results.....now i dont know about you but if i bet middle or bottom pair and get rerised like 5 times the original bet i think ima fold twice the bet ok maybe id call to see if i improve but 5 time s rediculous..... and im sayin g these people call and suk out too many time just like that i have top top and reraise big and they call and im like what the hell is goin on in their brains and have the nerve to say ima donkafter they suk out having called with bad money...its like i am really starting to believe these people are planted...not every table at evry game but alot and i notice they all play the same and they all call rediculously with weak hands preflop and weak pairs post almost as if they know that they will win...ive heard recently UB has been caught for fraud in the past and i really dont believe anything has changed maybe just better at covering it up..

But what you can do is avoid playing thier game....Stick to your game and things will fall into place....
