UB WSOP steps vs. FT freerolls I think I'm going to play a bunch of the UB steps SnG's. I've already got two step 2 tickets from only $0.20 invested. I just can't stand the FT donkament freerolls that you can't hardly get into during normal hours. Will post progress...

I agree with you on the donk freerolls, but the only thing that sucks about the Step tournaments on UB is that in order to get anything from playing it, you have to make it to Step 10 and win(for the trip to WSOP) or get 2nd place(for $3350 prize money). If you don't get either of these, then you aren't getting anything out of playing besides the fun of it. I have been playing them for the past two weeks and I have gotten up to Step 6 a couple times, but then got 3rd or 4th and bumped down. It would be nice if you could turn in the ticket from them for the cash back like you can with some qualifiers, but oh well.

Yeah the WSOP freerolls on full tilt from step 1 to step 2 fill up before you even see the Register Now button, i don't know whats causing that but I've been trying to get in still. One freeroll max is like 240 players and the other one 480 they fill up in milliseconds. Hell even the $100 freeroll with max 2700 fills up within 3 seconds

re: UB WSOP steps vs. FT freerolls poker Same was happening to me. Those early Steps have way too many people in them that are shoving with everything and calling everything, so if you are able to get a premium hand, you are likely to double up to someone hoping to get lucky(unless they do that is, which has happened to me way too many times in the Steps) GL getting to Step 10

I've been playing these as well and doing decent in them so far. Being bored in the step1/2 is easy. I just open up CC and read some post, play real tight early then turn it on when the blinds are bigger. Good luck arahel and maybe I'll see you on the felts.
