Two players in the same residence?

I have someone in my household who'd like to play regularly at FullTilt, just as I do. How do I work this out to avoid FT thinking I've got two accounts? Would we not be allowed to play in the same tournaments/SNGs? We've got different e-mails.. it's just the address that will be the same, not to mention playing from the same IP address..

How do I work this out before telling him to create an account?

It shouldn't be a problem as long as the emails are different and you don't use the same account to deposit.

My husband and I both have accounts at several sites.

You can not sit at the same cash tables or play in STT's together. You can play in the same MTT's.

The only time my husband and I ever play the same game are in private CC games and OFC games.

Just two more questions:

1) We have different last names. Does this pose an issue at all?
2) I will soon be moving. Will a simply change in address in the my information section of the Cashier window be all that's necessary?
3) When you say STTs v MTTs. How about 18man-45man SNGs? Can we play in the same ones?

The name should not be a problem at all. Yea - when you move just change the address on your account. I think you can play any sng's except single table. But why would you? There are plenty to choose from - I would just play different ones to be on the safe side and never arouse suspicion.

I played with several people on the same network - different computers, different accounts, same multi table tourney - no collusion, just trying to outlast the other and we had no problems.

Here is my More Than Strong Suggestion to you:

Email all the sites you plan to play on and disclose up front that both of you will be playing in the same residence. This way, you nip the problem right up front. If you do not do it this way, there is a chance that a problem may arise at the most inoportune time which may cause the site(s) to freeze your account for investigation (generally when you want to cashout).

This takes about 1 minute to do and may save you many hours/days/weeks of frustration. Also, the site will probably advise you on their specific rules regarding "same resident playing".

you need to email the site and tell them about what you are doing if you try to hide it or do not tell them thats when accts get closed

I agree on the upfront e-mail. I did so with Stars when my wife wanted to start playing a year or so ago. After they responded with approval and the usual warnings about what not to do, THEN we opened her account and deposited/transferred.

That way there are no surprises or red flags later. With my recent success on FT she now says she wants to play there, so I'll do the same with them before she signs up.

And keep the emails! Just in case later there's any question, you can prove you were pro-active about notifying them.

Full Tilt security will ask for you to send a copy of your ID and Bank info to prove the names and accounts.

After that they will re-open your account if it was closed or suspended.

Well, not yet anyway

This guy had no problems.....4 years ago he played 81 SNGs with the same guy..and just last week they took his full 25K after he requested a cashout and they researched his account (the guy says they only showed him 4 hands as their proof)

Wow tht's interesting, I will have to fire off some emails as my wife and I play at several different sites. Different accounts and emails. We do on occassion play in the same tournaments. I will have to square this away before it becomes an issue.
