Two accounts at Fulltilt?

Can I have more than one account on the same computer with Fulltilt?

Boyfriend wants to play, but I don't want him to screw up my stats. Can he open an account on my computer?

yes, you will just be restricted as to which games you can play together, make sure he uses all his info.

You can both have accounts, but, not play the same tournament on the same computer.If you have 2 computers, you can then both play in the same game. Before you download FullTilt, delete Fulltilt from your computer and then delete cookies. Then download it as you normally would. My wife and I regularly play in the same games on 2 different computers

Really? I just lost respect for full tilt for allowing two players to play using the same ip. That just allows for players to collude with each other. The assumption I'm using is that both computers are in the same housing, and you can't blame me for assuming that. However, I'm not saying both of you share card info, but simply saying that this hole allows many others too.

You missed the part about them not being able to play at the same table. How can you collude when you're not playing at the same table?

It would not be fair if partners or house mates couldn't have their own accounts and had their games restricted.

It isn't fair on the masses who play individually, that a few will abuse the trust that has been given to co-habitaters.

It isn't these that you need to worry about but thos who deliberately setup multiple accounts and collude with themselves.

Fulltilt try to be fair and vigilant, so they do monitor for possible uncompetitve play. Any player who suspects something can email security at fulltilt with the details to assist these investigations.

It doesn't really bother me because I just play my own game. Play the cards, Play the position, Play the percieved weakness of openents.

There's no trust, they can't play with each other period. Now if they have unique ips it's possible but that's totally irrelevant to this thread.

Ya ive had 2 accounts for a while now...I only use one but seeing as u cant delete them I could say I still have to..Just dont collide and you'll be fine

I was going to start a new thread, but I was looking through some recent posts and found this thread. Anyway, I just found out that Fulltilt paid me $13.60 because they figured out that I was playing against some colluders I assume this happened during ring games, but it mentions tourneys as well. Maybe they weren't playing from the same household. Perhaps instant messages were used. How stupid can you be to get caught I know people play fishy against me. I just figured they were fish. Maybe they were the ones colluding

Here is the email they sent me:

The Full Tilt Poker Security department has recently concluded an extensive investigation and we have determined that some of your opponents were in violation of our site terms.

We have permanently closed all of the offending accounts. In cases of proven cheating, 100% of the confiscated funds are returned to the players who were victimized. The reimbursement calculation is based on the number of tournaments or hands played against the offending players, and the amount won or lost against them.

We have determined that you are entitled to a refund of $13.60 which will be placed in your account in the next 72 hours.

For a number of reasons, we are unable to provide any other additional information regarding this case, including the players involved and the game type where it occurred. The vigilance of our players in reporting suspicious behavior is an important addition to our ongoing diligence against unethical conduct, and we carefully investigate every concern of suspicious activity.

FulltilltPoker does not alow 2 account, i had one Playe money account and a Real Money account, when they spoted them, sent me and email and in the email they stated that as a routine check, they found that i have 2 accounts and they dont alow more than 1 account per household, computer, ip and home address.
So if ya have 2 account at FulltiltPoker when they will spot it, they will surely close it.

Duplicate account ar not alowed at there site.


Doesn't matter if you use the account or not, they will close it, and they will let open the first one you registered.

Full Tilt allows (as do many sites) multiple accounts from the same household IF it is two different people (husband/wife/gf/bf/etc). Be prepared to prove it. They also have restrictions where the two accounts may NOT play in some of the same games/tables.

Write an e-mail to support and ask. They will tell you exactly what they will approve, and then it is also on file that you are asking ... BEFORE doing.

The difference here is that you had two accounts for yourself. It's perfectly within the poker site's rules for two people in a household to each have their own account.

As to playing together, you will not be able to sit at a ring table together, but you can play in the same tournament (just not on the same computer, obv). I used to be on a network connection with my brother, and we were able to play in CC tournaments together. Also, my husband and I both have our own laptops, and we've played in the same tournaments as well. Obviously we aren't colluding or anything of the sort (everytime in separate rooms), but just wanted to point out that you can play in the same tournament.

No, the person said you can't play the same tournament with the same computer which was an obvious durrrr, but that person then said with two different computers, you can join the same game. Well, I'm guessing by your response that was incorrect. If so, then good!

David Benyamine is widely known to play under multiple accounts on Full Tilt. They either make an exception for him, or it's permitted - provided, I imagine, that those accounts aren't logged in at the same time.

Frankly, as long as you only collect a bonus on one account, etc, I can't see what the harm would be.

My interest in having two accounts is in manipulating table image in terms of: my opponents' HUD stats on me, going in cognito if I'm being pegged as a regular, experimenting with playing styles, etc. My motivation is ultimately irrelevant though since none of that is cheating.

Maybe YOU don't think it's cheating, but having 2 accounts is in VIOLATION of the site's rules that you agreed to when you signed up.

Result will be having all your accounts closed and funds confiscated ... period.

My wife and I still have accounts at Full Tilt. We also have accounts at many other sites. We absolutely follow the "rules" which we agreed to when the accounts were opened. You obviously must have seperate email addresses and the information, name, address etc had better be accurrate and you should be able to prove it. I contacted all the sites we have accounts on and in 3 years have never had an issue. I did have to send a copy of my ID to Ultimate Bet.
There is also a 3rd account in my son's name at Poker Stars. I was not aware of this account until I found his username and password. I logged in and saw all his information and immediately contacted PS to make them aware of this account registered from my IP address. Even though he no longer lives here and doesn't play there anymore.
It is better to be safe than sorry as far as keeping legitimate accounts.
There are also some sites that will not let 2 people from the same IP address, regardless of different PCs,, log in to the same tournament.
My wife and I will be playing the upcoming OFC game at FT, as we routinely do. (repping CC)
This is perfectly within the rules, although, I'm sure that there are some unscrupulous individuals who have figured out ways to get around the rules.
