I thought I would have a crack at these as the first Step is a 7$ entry and each of the stages are 9 or 10 up so seem achievable, especially with a number of retry tickets in each one. I made it to stage 3 last night and bummed out in 6th, I went all in on a coin flip and lost. Anyway as I am not used to turbo tourny's I wondered how other people play them, the first round or two seemed to be fairly loose and I found it easy to pick my moments. Stage 3 onwards though seemed everyone was playing tighter than a ducks **** which I thought was little odd for a turbo. I won back into stage 2 again tonight and just wondered how others play turbos if at all? Do you stick to your A game or let loose a bit because of the increase in blinds?

I made it to stage 4 twice now, (215) but donked out, only had 5 and 6 left T.T

The difficultly of players increases ive found increases past stage 3, because they are no longer turbos. 1-3 turbos 4-6 normal 10 min blinds.

i get loose a little bit. because the blinds get so big so fast u gotta accumulate chips in order to have a chance in winning. but thats just what i do other people have other opinions!

I have made it to step 5 twice, and step 6 once. They get a hell of a lot harder at 5 and 6. Non-turbo from this point forward, and step 6 you start with 3000 chips. Generally you are playing against people directly buying in so I was playing way out of my bankroll, but since you can't get $T for the steps I played it out. In the 5th that I got knocked out in I lost AK to AQ AIPF. In the 6th I just got outplayed, and knew it. But such is life, and it was well worth the $7.50 I invested to get there....

I made it back to stage 3 again which i'm going to play tonight, I didn't realise that they are only turbo up to 3. Hopefully I will get through to 4, as said it's worth a go for $7.50.

On your step 6 did you get much money?

I think one of the 6's 2nd-7th are money prizes and 1st is the seat to tourney.

Arwwww, i was so angry after busting on step 4! Played so well all the time, and all at once. Thats the thing i shouldnt have done, was to tired and made a wrong move at the wrong time.

I even busted as the first player..Since then i havent tryed them, and its not so fun now after EPT warzaw was sold out, cause there u could get nice cash prizes if u placed 3rd or 4th..

Because the blinds escalate so quickly I always play aggressive with sometimes marginal hands especially if I've only shown strong hands at showdowns. I keep notes on everyone and along with position use that to decide when to bluff but I always try to give myself some kind of chance. No fps of 9-2 J-4 etc. I usually play suited cards 9&up unconnected or connected if lower, but not against pf raises. Top 20 I always play. If you manage to accumulate a nice BR then you can be more selective but always remain AGGRESSIVE. I will almost always make a 2x feeler bet out of position against tight players. In the blinds I almost always bet rags hard.
This strategy has helped me to make the money on a regular basis. GL
