| yeah Ive got some money there, which I won from taking down a CC freeroll 2 weeks ago, which Im in the process of taking out. The software is terrible, no HUDs work there, variety of mtts etc is shocking, and traffic is low. Luckilly Im from the UK, so have lots of choices, and am not limited. Out of the 30 or so sites Ive played at, this ranks maybe 29th, or even 30th. |

| re: Trying out Intertops. poker can US players play on the ipoker network ? i haven't deposited for about 2 years but i know deposits and withdrawals are quick and easy with a debit card. 3 weeks ago i withdrew $200 from cd poker, which is an ipoker skin. the money was in my account 5 days later. not sure if US can play there tho'. good luck |

| Intertops layout is the same exact layout as Cake. That's the whole point of it being a skin. The best part about Intertops is they have games that are exclusive to their skin... meaning you won't find them on Cake or any other Cake skin. The traffic for these games are extremely low, which gives them extreme value. They also have Intertops-only promotions which aren't really valuable, but they're at least something. I hope the CC games will also continue in some form. |

| having read my first reply, it sounds like I hate Intertops. I don't, but because Im luckilly from the UK Ive got a great choice of sites to play at, so this wouldne be my first choice by a long way. But for an American, who's limited, I guess it's not a bad site to play on. |

The only difference is the color scheme. Intertops is much better than Cake for a variety of reasons, but most importantly they process their own Cashouts. I would disagree with the comment that Intertops doesn't offer much value. If your getting Rakeback(hopefully you are????), deposit/reload bonus, Gold Cards/Chips, plus the Intertops specific promotions there is actually a decent amount of value when you add it up. I would also point out that Intertops/Cake Network uses the Dealt method of Rakeback calculation which is much more valuable for Full Ring Games and for TAG players. Unfortunately, you arent' going to find much better places to play then Intertops if you are a US resident. You could muti Network to help find the best games available that you play and to help with your volume. This is what I do and it's about the best option currently for US players. |

I am getting some form of rakeback, but traditional rakeback wasn't available to me when I opened my account. I could do much better rakeback-wise by playing other sites. I do know the games are quite soft and great for TAG players with rakeback, but I'm generally a tournament player... and I do love Intertops for their exclusive guarantee tournaments which almost always have overlay. I should probably go after a deposit/reload bonus at some point, but I've actually never had to deposit on any online poker site. |

That's where your value has gone. Unfortunately you have to be very careful when signing up to Intertops or you won't receive the standard RB. However, if you do sign up at the appropriate place and get the standard 33% RB, which I have, then they actually do have a lot of value on top of the RB. |

I have issue with Intertops promotions... they're mostly a joke and rarely return more than 5% of the rake you put into them. Their customer service is also very poor, which compounds the problem with their promotions (some of which is Cake's fault... some Intertops' fault). With Merge opening up to US players as early as tonight, I'm really hoping US players end up getting some better competition for our business in easier deposits and withdrawals and better promotions. |

With Rakeback and the promotions, they add up to a good amount of money back. Below are some of the figures on these that I did quickly: Based on the figures below you would earn: RB=33% Deposit Bonus=18%-27% depending on the game type. Oktoberfest=9% Just those 3 give you 60-69% while clearing a bonus, depending on what you play. On top of that you would also earn: Gold Cards(for Ring Games), Gold Chips, and Gold Stacks. The Gold Chips/Stacks don't have a lot of value when you first start off, but they add a little and as you get to higher levels, they add even more. Also, if your a high volume player, you should earn a little in the FPP Races that they run weekly. Based off that, you should be able to get 70%-80%+ with Rakeback. I think that's pretty significant if you have Rakeback. The support isn't the greatest, but they do have a Poker Room rep on 2p2 that will take care of most issues you have if you send him an email. |

| re: Trying out Intertops. poker Couple things I don't like about Intertops (but mostly cuz I'm too lazy to go thru the verification process) vs. Cake, is the goofy $20 freeze on your account (only allowed to play up to $20/day). I tried to enter a tourney that cost $20+2 but it wouldn't let me. I read in another thread on here about pros & cons of the $20max/day thing.. but imo I see no 'pros' to this at all. My understanding of it too was > you were only able to lose up to $20/day but this is incorrect.... today I played my first 'regular' mtt on the site (dick'n around while working on puter, figured why not run a micro on somewhere unusual for the hell of it...saw a $3 mtt had just started so I signed up for it). Took 3rd of 72entrants for the big $28, then figured I'd be able to reg. for the $30 bounty tonight (at same time as other games I'm playing later on) but was sadly mistaken > I can still only play stuff up to a $20max. This is kinda odd imo, especially for SNG/MTT players. I mean in SNG's you might be a great player but easily lose 6-10 games in-a-row... so on Cake, even if you took down the first 5 sng's, placing in 1st in all of them, you can still only lose a max. of $20. Seems dumb. The plus for Intertops for US players is obviously the withdrawl thing (posted above) but for me Cake is still better because on Cake I'm able to make player-to-player transfers & am not able to do this on Intertops. I just read in another thread that there are plans for more CC stuff on Intertops. That'd be cool (as long as they don't cost over $20 ) |

That is odd that you had a $20 max loss. Mine was $200 per day, but I got it raised to $500 by going to the live chat in the cashier section and asking them about it. They just had me verify my account. (email address, DOB, home address, phone number) and then updated it immediately. Idk if it was maybe your deposit method or something that made it $20 but that seems kind of ridiculous. I've never made a deposit and mine was originally $200. Weird, it should be easy to get it raised though. Good luck. |

$20 is pretty standard.... if you read on some other threads on CC you'll see that a bunch of others had the same amount set on their accounts. Still too lazy to verify my acc't. on there.... I only add in one game (MTT) from there into the schedule (or I just play on CAKE instead). I should really get my sh_t together though (maybe tomorrow?) |
