Trouble with Pokerstars Client

Last week i tried to login to P and it told me that there was an error with the software and that I needed to download it again a install on top would fix. Going to the site I am unable to get to the .com download to install I guess because i am in the USA?

I would really like to have access to the .com site for a few reasons

1) At some point I am gonna get off my lazy butt and take out the BR i have there
2) Playing with play chips on there allows for replays and things that are not available from the .net site

Is anyone else able to get to the latest install file and if could you download it and provide a link to it somewhere for me.

Emailed support and they have no responded.

Hi Kmixer, if you contact support using the email address registered to your PokerStars account, they will provide you with the appropriate link to solve your problem. Let me know if you have any furthur issues.

yeah i had the same problem and the above message is correct, just email support and they will give you instructions on how to sort the propblem out

Can you cash out with the .NET version of pokerstars client?

a little update since my last post about this issue, since I still had money on Pokerstars I emailed them asking them about how I'm supposed to cash out and if despite the U.S. players being closed out of real money games are we not welcome to enjoy the .com software and forced to play with the .net or is it possible we can still play on the .com site.

A couple of days later I got an e-mail from them with a zip file attached to it that had the install inside with instructions saying that no matter if I had money on my account or not no U.S. player should be denied access to the .com domain and that the only thing we are prohibited to do is play for real money.

I used the install inside the zip folder he sent and now I'm playing on the .com version of their software again. Am I the only one this happened to? or is this because I still have money on my account? because I am almost certain you cannot cash out from the .net software because their is no cashier.

Same thing for me and I am back in business on the .com site. Might just go ahead and cash out now before I lose the money for good.

I am having the same issue. I have emailed pokerstars support twice with no response. Can anyone send me a link or install file?

trouble shoot the program then it will give you a solution thats how i solved it hope this helps if not waite till you hear back from ps

You guys have mentioned Pokerstars sending a zip file or something like that, so you can still continue to use the .com version. Is this still the case, cause after 4 yrs of playing, I get a message saying I have to re-download the software and it's the .net version. I like the features of the .com one ( player search and having an avatar). So if this file exists out there somewhere, can someone email it somehow? Not real computer savvy. I would appreciate and help on this, going out of my mind.....I hate change!
