Trip Reports: Do Online Players Care?

Since I have played in several dozen poker rooms in Southern California and Southern Nevada, I've recently done some trip reports of a few of my experiences there. The goal of these trip reports is for people to read them and decide if they wish to play in these card rooms in the future.

As much as I enjoy this Cardschat forum, it seems that 95% of the Posters here only play on-line, and not in Brick and Mortar casinos. I may be wrong, but that is just what it seems like to me.

I was wondering if most people here read or care about these trip reports, or are only interested in on-line Poker?

I enjoy writing these, but I just want to make sure there is an audience for them on this site. I have another 30 or so I can write, but I just want to make sure some people like reading them.

Thanks.

Stuey U. RIP

Since the places you mention are on the other side of the planet from me, they are not of much interest to me personally. However, I am happy that CC should have as wide a variety of poker-related material as possible. I also think it is important we should remember that poker is not just another videogame and that the live game should also be cherished.

So, your reports are very welcome. Keep them coming.

I very much enjoy the trip reports. You never know when they will come in handy. Over time a collection of these reports would make a nice stickied thread for the Poker Rooms forum. I encourage you to keep posting them even if you don't get much feedback on the individual articles.

Heck I post trip reports even if they are not poker related! It's fun to share your story's and read other people's story's about their experiences. It is fun to live vicariously through others!

You don't get many responses because most of us live nowhere near the casinos.

But you have done a good job on them and they would come in handy if anyone was ever planning a trip to those areas.

Thanks to everyone for the encouragement.

Buckster, they are in this very Forum.."Poker Rooms".

Since they are poker rooms, I thought this would be the best place, no?

If not, feel free for the mods to move them to whereever.

I have called each of them:

Trip Report: (Poker Room name - City), so you can find them easily.

I've only jus read 3 of ur trip reports but im enjoying them mate. Spesh since i've never been to Las Vegas before it gives us ppl a general idea on what some of the poker rooms are looking/playing at.
Keep up the good work. Intresting reads.
Yeah i'd say that 60% of ppl on here only play online bcos there too young to go casinos or that the casinos are too far away from them.
Luckly for me it's only a 30min drive to my local casino but some of the games are pretty pants. Plus i work night shift too so i dont get to go to the casino as much as i want to since the tournies start at 8PM, cash games start at 10PM and i start work at 10PM. BOLLOX. I need a new job... ¬.¬
