| Tourney results from Las Vegas trip so far Last night I had my first cash in a live (as opposed to online) tourney. After five hours of play, I came in 10th out of 171 players to win $120, which was not quite twice the buy-in. I did tip the dealer. Had hoped to make it further in the money since the payscale increases substantially, but it was not in the cards for me. This morning I played another one and came in 16th out of 70, missing the money. I'm headed downstairs for a third shot in a few minutes. Viva Las Vegas! I'm playing a slots tournament tomorrow, LOL... total silly luck, I know, but I've always thought they look like they'd be a hoot. |

| I finished poorly in last night's tourney but may try again tonight, depending on how tired I am. Lesson learned: Don't leave the hotel during summertime! I took a long walk in 100 degree weather today to find an ATM that didn't charge larcenous fees to withdraw. Mission accomplished, along with some bargain-priced snacks, but I returned exhausted with headache, sunburn, and blisters. Still having fun, though. |

Sounds like you are still having fun Roundcat. Good luck in your next tournament. I'm not sure where you are staying but they do have a rail system there(if it is still up and running. I know they had problems for a long while with it.) too stinking hot this time of year there to walk miles |
