tonight's home game. . .

well, just got home from playing a home game with 10 other people, all of whom i have never played against before. in fact, my friend who invited me was the only person i had ever so much as met. so i felt pretty good about winning their buy-ins lol. . .

basically, i played a very tight aggressive game tonight and i felt really good about my play because i was not getting lucky cards. as it happens, i won every pot that i entered and i only had to show down 2 of them. it was unreal. but to make a long story short, the other guy and me ended up splitting the pot due to time constraints, which was ok but i'm sure i would have beat him. i'll get him next time.

anyway, just wanted to release a little because i don't get a lot of live action around here and its nice to leave someplace after other people give you their money just for playing a game lol . . .

the buy in was $25, so i was able to take over $100 still with splitting the pot. next time i'm gonna suggest a higher stake lol. . .
