Today's FTP update - change max # of tables to observe?

Anyone else notice this? I was on fulltilt tonight, just finished playing & went to watch a couple of MTT players I watch on occassion & when I went to open up their tables I was only able to observe a max of 5tables? (why would I watch more than 5tables?... I can easily watch a dozen+ lol... & will play back certain hands in some spots, watching how the players played the hands throughout & I find this has helped out my game ALOT). Now tonight with it only being 5tables maximum I don't even want to bother with it (too slow paced).
I wonder why Fulltilt has reduced the max. # of tables that one can observe? (it used to be the same max. as you could play on... I think '27' or whatever it is but not so anymore). Any ideas why they'd do this?

To be slightly more exact it would be whomever PTR (and poker edge etc) buy their data from. Perhaps Marketpulse?

This was just my theory... but if I am right perhaps tourney players might prefer having the limitation only apply to cash tables...

Your theory does sound logical though.

If that is the reason though then it makes sense to include tournaments - I'm assuming it'll be as big a problem for Sharkscope as it will for PTR and it's not just cash game data mining they're looking to stamp out.

Sharkscope and OPR really just read the results tables though, they aren't watching the tables being played in the tourneys. So they won't affect those sites because they aren't observing tables.

When I make it into the top 90 of a huge MTT, I like to open up the other tables and get a look at my opponents and see how they go about it.

Shame really.

This will actually really suck in larger-field satellites while approaching & on bubble. Post above got me thinking about that. (MTT's I'll only watch when there's 2 tables left which isn't very often.... for me, lol)
