| Titan's new update... & problems I'm having with it Titan's new update this past week > some changes to the lobby (a 'new' lobby). Can't say I was overly impressed... more like really disappointed as iPoker network is a huge fail in what one might consider to be pretty standard stuff on most pokersites (ie. synchronized breaks in MTT's, 'late registration' for Tourneys, & a ton of others > terrible structure & selection for SNG's, way too many 'speed rebuy' donkfests (not enough reg. freezeouts), no extended timer feature on most of their tourneys..etc. etc. Thing bugging me the most since the 'update' is that I'm having a problem happening every time I'm on there now > Data Execution Prevention & the site gets shutdown by my computer (happened again today while deep in an MTT, on shortstack BvB with a clear shove hand & 'poof'.. I get shutdown ). I wouldn't even bother playing on there this week aside from some priv. tourneys & other promo stuff , ie. that 2,000 pt. buyin $10K freeroll, the 'CanadaPayDay $1,250freeroll', 'Canucks R Us' tourney, etc. If it weren't for these I'd just play on WilliamHill instead (& will now be doing so if I can't get this stuff figured out with Titan). Also, I've got pokerprolabs software & since the update it is no longer working for me on Titan but does work on WilliamHill so it's a no-brainer where I'll play from now on. Another beef I have with Titan > their support is absolutely atrocious!!! I've had quite a few problems over the past couple years on there, have written to them with details each & every time & not ONCE was I ever helped out with any of it. (oh.. except one time I'm disconnect from a handful of tourneys & to compensate they send me some useless ticket to some winner-take-all freeroll & some other useless ticket as well... a 'refund' would've sufficed but they didn't even consider it). I've also often wondered in the past > why do they not have some reps. on some of the forums? Why don't they take an interest in improving their site? You'd think that with the current state of online poker economy they'd step up just a weee bit, get it together & grab ahold of a bigger piece of the market. Or how about a simple survey emailed to their customers, asking for what they might want to have on the site? On Titan I get none of this. You'd think this would be marketing101? Who do they employ on that site? (cuz they're failing miserably). For awhile now I've considered withdrawling the majority of my Titan poker bankroll & now I can't think of much of a reason to leave much on there at all (just add Titan to the list of other sites I rarely play on aside from some bonus stuff). Anyone else experiencing issues with Titan since the 'upgrade' (< if you can call it that)? Any thoughts on what I can do to keep that DEP thing from occurring? tks |

| Haven't played there for a while now and don't intend to again. Had ~$200 on there in December and splashed it on a bunch of tourneys and didn't cash. Don't think I'll be playing there much anymore. Logged in to see what the update was about and didn't like it at all but didn't have any issues running it. Preferred the old lobby but might just need time to adjust to the new look. Hate that there's no synchronised breaks or late reg on iPoker. I play a fair bit on Paddy Power and think I'll be there to stay as far as iPoker goes. Opened Titan just now and there was a fairly big update so this may have fixed your issues. |

| And as usually > zero response from Titan. Almost seems like that site could care less if they get more players on the site. Pretty sure a 10yr. old could market & run a co. better than they do. Lookin' at takin' just about everything off of there, leaving only enough to play in a few 'regional' games & a couple priv. ones I play in on there. They can jam the rest. |

| I'm having the same problem you are, a message pops up out of nowhere for no reason saying there's a problem and have to close it down... it has happened several times already. Spoke to live support about it and he told me to download the poker room again becaus ethe issue was already fixed (apparently a lot of people were having the same problem) I did so but the problem persists, have downloaded it about 3 times already since then but still the same problem, next time I open it will talk to live support again. |

| Just chatted with Titan online support again. Told me to send a screenshot of the error to support@titanpoker.com. Said I will take one next time it happens. |

This all applys to playtech though, they really should be taking the bull by the horns and making the iPoker network the best alternative to stars, hopefully the new updates will make a change, it looks like they are trying to go more social, which wouldnt fix a poker players problems with the site, but may bring more fish. |

| Looks like all the iPoker sites will be following suit with the new update. Just got emails today saying it'll be happening next week. Hope they sort out any glitches they have by then. Wish it wasn't changing tbh cos I'm happy with it the way it is. |

I played on there briefly again & again it shut down on me in the middle of tourneys. I've kept from withdrawling most of my roll on Titan as its the one site where I actually am rolled fairly decently... good enough to be able to play lowstakes MTT, occassional midstakes & satty to the occassional $215. Had hopes of bein' able to perhaps bink a decent score on there at some point... but now I'm going to quit playing on there aside from the priv./league stuff I play in (will just pull it up on other laptop, instead of bein' stuck on Titan & entering other tourneys at same time). Hoping there'll be a change on there & did notice that there seemed to be another update the other day (yesterday I think it was)... but it's still f'n up on me Finally going to get my Moneybookers account working for me & will no longer need to bother jerkin' around with my bankroll (< long overdue) |

| OK, interesting read, since I have been thinking of an acct. at ipoker and partypoker. Sounds like WH the better ipoker skin. I will follow your progress here and wait and see. In any case, GL with getting it sorted. I have had some problems with Merge - BCP - crashing and me having to force quit and restart the program. Happened when I raised my KK on a K high dry flop and was re raised, it crashed before I could hit all in, and by the time I was back in I had folded to his re raise.GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR |

I'm not sure which iPoker site is the best one to sign-up on. I've heard good & bad things about all of them. I've signed up on the ones I'm on pretty much for the same reasons I sign up to all site, lol (or at least a big part of the reason). If you haven't signed up on Titan, for sure do so & deposit so you can play the CC $1K Monthly freeroll (even if that's all you play it is worth it for this reason alone). I also signed up on Poker770, bet365 & WilliamHill.. all for sign-up benefits that suit a tournament player. Just about to sign up to another one now, lol.. 'ChiliPoker' (< saw this site a couple yrs. ago & thought to myself, "pfff.. Chilipoker.. gimmee a f'n break! I'll never sign up to that!!" ... & now I'm making plans to get on there shortly, LOL). I'm goin' pokersite insanity lately though, with finally getting Moneybookers happening, I'm signing up on every site I can find, lol (jk.. sort of... although I have added a half-dozen sites lately). |

| it's getting worse now. Played a priv. Canadians only cheapo $added on Titan tonight because it was running at same time as CC Carbon freeroll. We're no in late levels, final table bubble & I've disconnected 8x now.. sigh (actually not just 'disconnect' but my puter actually shutsdown the software). I've been losing a ton of value... ie. needing to overshove monsters for fear of getting disconn while in middle of a hand. It's pretty ridiculous. Thinking now that this is will be the 2nd last game I play on this site (& last will be the $1,250 CanadaPayDay that I've just barely squeaked into the pts. to qualify for). Hmm.. guess I'll still be giving the CC $1K Titan monthly freeroll a go though Kind of a shame because up til' now I've had an ok experience on Titan. |

| Titan support finally gets back to me, admitting there's been a problem on the site but apparently it'd been fixed (meanwhile it's actually gotten worse for me). So why play on there? Well.... when they've got a $1 1R/1A with $150added, small field of ~30 players for Canadians only & running at the same time as a CC Freeroll on Carbon.... how can I not play it? |

We understand how you feel; however, please note that we do take consideration your opinions and suggestions. Rest assured that we are looking into the matter and we are taking all the appropriate actions to have it resolved the soonest time possible. We just want you to extend your patience on this matter as our Management needs to check further your suggestions. Regarding the software crashes while you are playing, we suggest that you do the following: *** For Windows XP users: 1. Download and install the application Unlocker (http://www.filehippo.com/download_unlocker/). 2. When the client crashes, do not to click on any of the buttons Send to Microsoft, etc., just yet. 3. Go to the folder C:\Documents and Settings\TTR96656492\Local Settings\Temp and sort the items by date (may be items need to be shown in detailed view in the explorer). 4. Find the topmost 2 or 3 items that are most recent, right click and select Unlocker. 5. Select Unlock All and exit Unlocker. 6. Copy those items somewhere else (e.g. on the Desktop) and attach the files to an email to Titan support. 7. Click on “Send report to Microsoft” To improve the reporting to Microsoft: 1. Click on the flag icon next to the clock in the taskbar and click on Open Action Center. 2. Click on Change Action Center settings link on the left side of the window. 3. Click on Problem reporting settings link at the bottom of the window. 4. Check the second option (Automatically check for solutions and send additional report data, if needed). *** For Windows Vista and Windows 7 users: 1. When the client crashes, open task manager, go to processes and find casino.exe. 2. Right click and select Create Dump. 3. Compress the resulting file and send it to us. Thank you. Knowing it was a problem with the software (& not my computer), & informing me they were aware of the problem when I first emailed support would've been cool. Instead it's 20emails back&forth. In my last couple/few emails I've left a link to this thread for Titan support. Feeling it'd be a miracle if they come here & reply on it. |

Adam, do you understand the negative situation this is for me... when you suggest for me to send you the compressed file (& I do appreciate you taking the time to let me know this)... it means I need to play a game on Titan... a game that is -ev for (negative expected value because of the software shutting down on me)... which also means that > I need to spend my money in order for Titan to discover what the problem is with their software (or actually with playtech's software). Adam, how much should I risk spending today knowing there's a 99% chance the site will crash on me again today? Should I spend $20?.. or maybe $50? Or how about just $5 or $10? (knowing that I will NEVER be compensated for my losses even though the problem is with the site's software & not with me on my end). Maybe you could deposit $11 in my account & I with that I will do a test run of the software, entering a $10+1 tournament, being sure to open up TaskManager so that I can send you a compressed file when the site crashes on me. Do you understand where I'm coming from? I am not upset here... I have a dozen pokersites I can play on today... I'm just disappointed. Anyway, I don't play on titan, I had my account closed because I no longer wanted to play on there, mainly because MTT's are next to none and when they are, they are massive donk fest rebuy turbo things you mentioned. Hope they sort it out for you. By the way, I always found their "live support" really good in answering most/all of my questions but I guess with software it must be different. |

| I've uninstalled > re-installed the software as instructed. As soon as I open up a table it does the very same thing on me, lol. Tried it again & now this morning I've entered a $5 priv. tourney along with a couple of $1 ones... giving it a 'test run'. This just might be D-day for Titan for me (or maybe I bink the 'DailyDollar'?) |

My last correspondence with them I asked them to email me when they get it fixed & won't be playing on there until such time. I've also been corresponding (or 'was' corresponding) with some other iPoker site's reps. (on other forums). All of them know about the problem but no fix has been made yet... sigh Just seems so weird that they could let it go on for so long & apparently not even take action with it until recently (according to correspondence). I mean think about it... if you were playing in Touranments on PokerStars & the software was doing this kind of stuff after an update, how long do you think that site would let it keep happening for? (a day?... an hour?... maybe less? lol). Also seems really odd that at a time when you'd think the competition would attempt to step up & fill a void (with FTP gone) they'd be doing the obvious basic stuff to promote/build their site's but instead they seem to be failing in a big way. Makes one wonder "who runs those sites?" Come on iPoker/Titan/the rest of ya.... Get ur sht together! |

| Should change title of this to 'iPoker network' Have almost entirely stopped playing on Titan now. (only regional bonus stuff now cuz I have no VIP status anymore). Played a few on WilliamHill on Sunday & same crap happening on there too. One tournament, 5 or 6 off bubble & site starts shutting down on me. Shutdown 3x & ended up going out a few off bubble. (bubble wasn't a big deal, just that it sucked to be shutting down then). Kinda surprised there aren't more members from CC posting on this thread? Maybe not many play Tournaments on iPoker network? I've commented in a thread on P5's - - on the Poker770 support thread (can't find one for Titan anywhere). Couple weeks after problem started, support guy (Christian) is asking questions & had no clue about what was happening (he does now though). Pretty surprising that they wouldn't know?? I wrote to W.H. support yesterday & amazingly their support personel was either still in the dark on this issue or didn't bother to let me know they were already aware of it (as I received a somewhat generic response, suggesting it's a problem on my mind which is f'n ridiculous). How does a site operate with such huge failings with their software & still not have it resolved? Can you imagine the uproar if something like this was happening on PokerStars? In case you're not familiar with the software problem, iPoker (Playtech software) is auto-shutting down. It starts right back up again once you fire it back up but still miss a hand or two which sucks obviously (how can someone play on there with confidence when they know that at any given time the software will shutdown on them?). WilliamHill did have a notice posted after opening lobby today, saying there'd be a site shutdown for 4hrs. this evening (10pm(est) til 2am(est). Really hoping it has to do with this issue. Didn't see a scheduled shutdown for TitanPoker though |

| Haven't had this happen to me yet but I only play a few money added games on PPP these days. Really sucks to have this happening and amazing that they haven't fixed it yet. Numbers have been steadily decreasing on iPoker for some time now and if they don't get this sorted quickly it could kill them off altogether. |

| I've got a bunch more updates regarding this... after conversing with WilliamHill customer support (first regular support... then supervisor, .. then the Customer Support Manager). Seems it might be a problem for players using WinVista 64-bit Quote from Mgr. (WilliamHill) I suspect the cause of the malfunction to lie in the new client's hardware-compatibility with a certain computer architecture (64-bit systems). |

| And another 'scheduled maintenance'... And another scheduled maintenance, back-to-back but there's nothing wrong with the software since the lobby upgrade/update? Obvioiusly there is but it's odd (& kinda frustrating & poorly handled imo) that their customer support doesn't readily admit to this when you write in to them about the problem. Wasn't until I let support supervisor know that I was offended by their replies & demanded an apology that I finally got some help regarding the problem. Hopefully Titan gets on board with this too. I played just ONE tourney on there today... to check to see if there's been any improvement. Shutdown 2x on me. (nothing has changed) |

| I've got Windows 7 PO, not sure if it's 64 bit or what. No issues for me but as I said I only play a handful of games and they're on Paddy Power. Looks like there's no CCers playing on iPoker anymore. I notice they have late reg today on most of their tourneys. Glad to see that, all they need now is synchronised breaks and I'll start playing some of their tourneys again. |
