Titan $1000 Freezeout

Got home late tonight & was checking on outcomes of nightly series games when I happened to notice a $5 buyin $1000 Guarantee Freezeout starting in 2 minutes. As I had not had my daily poker fix thought what the hey & signed up. 211 players, & I caught 3 or 4 good starting hands early, unfortunately they all came out 2nd best so with about 180 left in tourney was sitting between 170 & 175th. Dealer gave my KJo so went allin called by pair of 10's, flop was Q, blank, blank, he caught his 3rd 10 on turn & of course river was a 9 giving me a straight. Off & running after that. 1st final table in a MTT in quite a while. Ended up 5th so made a little money. I have said it before & will probably say it again, the high quality of competition that one faces in CC games along with the information & insights available here are extremly helpful in MTT's, not only in the decision making process but in accepting loses without going on tilt & in not getting to full of yourself when one catches a run of lucky cards. Great fun making a final table again, one of these days I am going to take one of these down.

Very nice job on the final table Kenz. I would have to say it helps me tremendously. I seem to do pretty well in them.(MTT) I just don't play in them often enough. Not enough scheduling time.

Sure haven't Chuck. I don't actually play all that many due to limited time last couple of months & again this month. Mainly play Shorthanded SNG's, mostly turbo & have been doing well. Appreciate the kind words guys. When I do get time to play MTT's I look for games with Chuck, Sammy, Freak or Master 6's. Won some money last month I believe & sat at the same table as XD for around 20 minutes. Really enjoyed that.
